Sengun is our franchise player. He's probably never going to be great on defense but you can build a high post around him

A lot of us have that poster on block for a while. He/she used to be a chill poster until harden left and sengun came, became unhinged. I would consider him/her the number 1 sengunatics.

The other stuff aside, this is actually an interesting one. I see people saying Sengun should add 3-point range and jump shots to his game. I show data that shows that Sengun is the best jump shooter on the team. Crickets from the same people who say he has no jump shot. On the other hand, people don't really point out the obvious flaws in Jalen's game. Jalen is a far worse defender than Alpi, and he doesn't have a back to the basket game. Kobe had a back to the basket game - he worked with Hakeem on it. I guess we would be happy if Jalen could just get the other stuff consistently right first. And expectations on the franchise player - Alperen Sengun - are higher than on his scorer sidekick. That's understandable.
Those people are complicit only because it aligns with their basketball views. The divide is too wide to have a healthy debate with this player unfortunately.
It sucks to try and catch up on context so I dont blurt out dumb sht (some may argue that happens even without catching up on context lol) but the common denominator in society is that these types of people enjoy each others nastiness.
