But you at least understand that is A LOT of contingencies that need to fall almost exactly into place right?

Please tell me it's not true about you wanting Will Levis.

I don’t want Levis, but I’d take him over Stroud any day. At least Levis has physical upside.
There’s only one QB I would take in the first round personally and that’s Young, even still I think there are better options.

This is probably the homer in me but I wouldn’t be mad at all if we traded back and drafted Bijan.

How about skip the QB, sign a vet QB or roll with Mills one more season, draft D at #2, Trade down from 12 for extra picks, draft Bijan Robinson, and draft Oline and fill out the roster with the rest of the draft. Go run heavy with 2 elite backs in Peirce and Bijan and build a beast D?
Or WR at 12, trade up into 1st for Bijan unless you think he falls to you with your 2nd round pick? In that scenario, trade cooks for what you can get.

Colts going to get Young. We will suffer for our incompetence, belie dat. I'm not settling for Levis or Stroud. Foh. We can afford to be patient until next QB draft class which has several that would go above all QBs in this class which tells you a lot about this class(though i still believe in Young.)

    Why does he want him?

Why though? Dameon Pierce is the feature back for us. You could easily use that high of a pick to shore up a much more empty positional group instead of creating controversy in the backfield. I'd much rather have the best pass catcher among the RB class in the 4th -5th round.

Yes I do and there's more risk in drafting a QB in this draft than waiting until the 2024 draft to get the QB. IMHO I say this knowing the contingencies, this tells you how much I dont like the 2023 QB class.

I like Pierce and he could very well be the feature back for us but controversy in the backfield would be the least of my concerns.

Certainly some other areas are of more pressing need but I’d have no problem adding the top two offensive players on my board, especially if we were able to gain some capital along the way.

He would rather have the overrated Ohio St black QB than have the next Bortles/Gabbert and any other white QB that busted.

Nevermind the track record for Ohio St QBs and the lack of upside for Stroud. Also the little fact that he’s terrible under pressure.

Well neighbor (Bijan R), c'mon down! (fall to 2-33)
He'd be great value at our 2nd rd pick!

Of course if both he and Jalin Hyatt were there that'd be a toughie for me!

That's just Irsay trying to get us to waste a lot of draft capital to move up 1 spot to insure we'll get Young!
Ballard's a trait based gm and probably wants Levis anyway.

Or maybe I'm wrong and Irsay really IS stupid enough to tip their hand. "Brother"!

I'm not even mad at you.

Texans need to start putting out the smoke screens that we will not be selecting a QB with the 2nd pick. It would be a nice way to **** on the Colts and Bears.

I shall continue posting alternatives to Bryce. If he is there, maybe.

I'm old school and don't want to waste a couple of years as the OL matures enough to keep the QB in the game.

I'd trade down before I'd trade up. Maybe to 3 so we snatch a pick from the Colts for a change.

Very likely they go QB so are you for another QB other than Young?
