he doesnt need jumpshot, he is elite at dribble drive penetration and can get to the rim as he wishes they just need to play more through him, to play him on ball more and teammates to stop taking so much bad shots if only jalen green was so hesitant to shoot, would be a much better player perhaps instead of anthony edwards jalen should emulate sengun who always goes out of his way to create easier shots for him and others and this argument just shows why tanking never works because most guys are my turn your turn guys...they don't want to play off of each other and cooperate, they just wait for a slightest window of opportunity to fire his shot..they are literally basketball cancers also saying is a emblematic of lazy thinking and lazy tanking culture if you want to win you need to do things nobody is willing to do you cant expect to win doing just average stuff and just what everybody else does.....if you want to be special you need to do special things and put in extra work and effort
And what is the tank commander's TS%? Oh yeah, 53.4.....which is a number inflated by FT shooting because he's terrible shooting everywhere else we're talking about a scrub that is only hitting 30% of his open 3's....so yeah, he's not someone who should be chucking. If we wanted to win, Green isn't someone who should even be playing at all because on top of his chucking ways on offense, he's the worst defensive player in the league.
Hmm I would say that a 20-21 yearbold's efficiency being inflated by fts is a good thing? .how many young guys can inflate their scoring efficiency with getting to the line? Getting to the line is one of the most consistent ways to be efficient. Why does he get to the line? Why is his ftr an argument that suggests his efficiency is inflated? Is ts% flawed in your eyes where a player drawing fouls isn't a benefit for the team? What should be the multiplier then other than .44 in the calculation? Or are you speaking out of your ass?
We aren't winning regardless with this squad. No vets, no hc, no actual pg. But sure it's all green fault. It's gonna b funny watching u practice your mental gymnastics when Green pops off again. Can always count on u to btch about green when he's struggling or having an okay game
I would say that player being a mindless chucker and being absolutely terrible shooting everywhere but the FT line is a bad thing though. Sure he can barge into defenders and pray for a foul, but that's not exactly a winning go to move, it would be better if he could actually shoot 3's and have some kind of a bag. Right now, if he's not having one of his random fluke hot shooting games the only way he can consistently score is if he gets an uncontested layup or dunk or if he gets bailed out by a whistle.
Solid points. I applaud the persistence in trying to tell a story that a certain fan club doesn't want to hear....but realize you are talking to a brick wall if you suggest anything less than building around Sengun as the franchise. That's the really frustrating part about this is I think we can all agree Sengun is a good player but you are painted as a hater here if you see his ceiling as anything less than the 2nd coming of Jokic. Thats the true absurdity of this thread.
Nonsense, take Green off the court and the exact same Rockets team starts to win...between him and Jabari Smith they are by far the biggest reasons why the Rockets lose games. Jalen Green is the worst defender in the league and Jabari is about as bad offensively as Jalen is defensively. Take those guys off the court and replace them with KJ and Tari and the Rockets win a lot more games.
Sure. Keep saying nonsense that can't b proven and if u repeat it enough u might get dumb@sses to actually believe it.
It's proven every single time Green misses games.....for his entire career. When you look at who is the largest net negatives on the team, you come up with Green and Smith. Sorry kiddo, that's just how it is. I know you are locked in to simping for players that are just godawful right now, but the facts are the facts. Hopefully one day they learn how to be starter quality players, but till then, you'll have to keep embarrassing yourself pretending they are awesome.
Pffft. Always talking nonsense I already know how u gonna back track when these two go to the next level. Can't take u serious cause u just gonna pretend that all this sht talking was just u being a "concerned Rockets fan". At least this time u are Wiser and aren't taking any extreme dumba$$ stance like Corey Brewer 2.0
This is a really dumb person's way of saying that you know that I'll say he's playing well if he ever starts to play well.....which is true. I only say he's playing terrible so long as he's playing terrible. That's of course in stark contrast to someone like yourself who just mindlessly rolls with a narrative no matter how anyone is performing. Also, it's kind of hilarious that you STILL aren't intelligent enough to understand what I said pre-draft about Jalen....despite it being spelled out to you many, many times.
LOL thats as closeminded as it gets thats because youre only an average mind and cant stand the sophistication, nuanced insight and colorful details i have to offer.... you are as casual a bb fan as it gets and you rightfully got by rockets just what you deserve because you are in favor of teammates fighting for the shots between themselves instead of playing team basketball btw who needs a j when you can drive like this if only jalen green could do this you would be down on your knees worshipping him... i am so sorry alperen sengun is not a black guy with a curly hair like all of your basketball idols
this useless troll really thinks I give a damn about his posts not reading this one either move along roach
lol thanks for the compliments buddy if you could refute my arguments I am 100% sure you'd do it... its proven because you always jump on any opportunity when i show any weakness in my argumentation besides stop derailing this thread if you not gonna discuss leave in peace and stop with the insults
I hear what you are saying, and I think Alpi should stop passing up opportunities to shoot. But I can't help but wonder if that is actually his own decision, not to take jump shots and threes, or if Silas told him not to do it. I remember Silas saying something like "he doesn't want him to take these shots because he is not good at them". Also, the shots Alpi takes are higher percentage shots. Jabari keeps firing, even though his %% are embarrassingly bad. I am pretty sure that if Alpi were to shoot more jumpers, his %% would be better than whatever Jabari has been doing. Could the difference be that one was given the green light, the other one wasn't?
LMAOOOO Sengun Fluffer #1 is talking about "stop with the insults" is this real life? Mrs Nazi Racist pure blood feeling insulted!! Im really flabbergasted!
One of the best statements I’ve seen. So much truth to this and if anyone disagrees, they’re an idiot
Also it's a good sign to see Sengun understands this and acknowledges on trying to work really hard on expanding his range. He's definitely less hesitant at taking the jumper than beginning of the season. Still too hesitant but I don't doubt with his work effort he will be a competent outside threat when he finishes developing.
