Here's what Minnesota president Rosas said:

“I love his edge. I love his toughness. His grit,” Rosas told The Ringer after the draft. “What he has overcome. His motivation to be successful in life. I love that he’s a multisport natural athlete who is smart and bright and intelligent and, at the same time, young, raw, and naive to life.”

“His physical and athletic tools for that position and that profile in the NBA are just freakish.”

In any case, him having "one of the most explosive first steps ever" is what you said. Can you support it or not? If you can, do it. If you can't, own your misstatement, and move on.

Ya I would use something like that tactic also if I couldn't address any of the arguments someone made.

This thread degenerated a lot... Both Green and ANT are athletic and explosive. ANT is stronger, Jalen is quicker...

If that is the return, we should just keep him.

still better than 5 second rounders and there is also the addition by subtraction principle

and if you know what you do you might draft another alperen sengun with the new midteen pick

with the top picks there is an unusual public pressure on GMs to draft the most hyped guy so midteen picks are very useful for a gm that knows his stuff...

kawhi, giannis, sengun ....nice trio of goat ballers

I understand and like the thought process, waiting may cost us some but the return isn’t crazy big anyway. I would really like to see him within a system and under the leadership of a different coach. That is worth giving up SOME of the return. Who knows Green may flourish under new guidelines.

You don't get rid of Green. He has the ability to put up points. Let's say we have Vince Carter which I've said all along.

We need a solid management team. Get rid of Stone and Silas as well as the "head honcho "in KPJ. Thets buil around Sengun and get shooters. Remember when Jamison was killing it. Sengun is even better

Jalen is a year behind Anthony Edwards from Minnesota in his development, comparing where they were at the same respective age. But with the right coaching and the right mindset, I would not rule out that he will catch up with and possibly surpass Edwards in terms of production. It would be crazy to trade him.

Their stats are eerily similar (with a one-year delay for Green vs. Edwards - Green's year 2 looks like Edwards' rookie year).

Lets draft a player and then trade him after one year because he isn't an All-Star yet or have a title

Jalen is a scorer. I don't think he'll ever be a good defensive player. He's quick enough to be serviceable.

High post needs to go through Alpi. He can get the offense moving
