The Eagles got out-coached period, but that is one of the strengths of Reid and Bienemy. Those 2nd half adjustments destroyed Philly.

Yes this year they fixed their oline but you can’t call the eagles defense overrated because they ran into an all time great play caller and QB. Come on now. An overrated defense doesn’t get to the Super Bowl.

14 of the points they gave up were flukes off a blown special teams coverage and Hurts losing control of a football.

People trashing the defense for their performance are missing context. 14 of the points scored weren't on the defense. Other than that the only problem with that D performance was the blown coverage on that "corn dog" play. That was shameful, but otherwise giving up 24 points to an elite QB is nothing to hang your head about.

Hurts and that offense had more to do with it. The defense is overrated in that so many said that they were more of the reason Philadelphia was who they were versus Hurts... always saw that was bs. G. Mishew started and it was a totally different team. Slay struggled throughout the playoffs and they had issues stopping the run too. A lot got covered up because Purdy got hurt and the Giants had no business being in the divisional round. Outside that fumble Hurts had a great game. He caused a td but he also led the offense down the field and scored right after that. Hell... Hurts is who tied the game up at 35... all the defense could do is give up TD after TD. If this was Josh Allen or Joe Burrow doing what Hurts did this defense would be getting buried by the media.

Man that's gonna be a bummer if KK goes with Anarumo to Ari.!
I was liking the idea of having a "Kubiak" on the staff again.
Wonder if it's a better title or more money or what?

The flipside of this is that they gave up TDs on every possession in the 2nd half, except the last one where KC tried not to score a TD. That doesn't mean the defense was overrated, but they failed in the 2nd half of that game. Chiefs were able to do anything and everything they wanted to do.

They still had a chance to hold them to 3 after the punt return. They gave up an easy TD. The Chiefs scored everytime they wanted in the 2nd half.

Colts can go a lot of ways with their qb selection this year. AR15 could actually be a good fit for his offense as well..
