TyTy doesn’t play a lot because he still struggles on D (more than Nix) and Nix is getting time because of Stone, not Silas… only 1 of those 2 fellas called him a top tier talent

Nix has nothing as a pro player. He's worthless. TyTy may be too and Silas caters to Stone

I can’t help that you fail to comprehend the Rockets saying they were tanking and actually following through with it upsets you.

In several of his responses, Fertitta pointed to the importance of the NBA draft in building a contender, and he made it clear that the longer-term impact is more important than a short-term increase in wins.

“This year, we want improvement in every area,” Fertitta said. “But we’re really looking out there and seeing the window of what’s happening in the Western Conference, and how teams are getting older.”

“It’s so funny to look at, but when we were our best (2018), the worst teams were Phoenix, Dallas, and Memphis,” Fertitta added. “Look at those teams now. Because of the draft.”
“When you look at Boston and you look at Golden State, those are teams that are great because those are all players that were drafted,” Fertitta said Tuesday afternoon. “Their big core was drafted players. Sometimes bad things have to happen for you to be great.”

With Houston holding three first-round picks in Thursday’s draft, including the No. 3 overall selection, Fertitta and Stone are hoping to add at least one piece that will eventually help them accomplish that goal.

It’s almost like folks claim to be Rocket fans, be on this forum and don’t read articles or listen to post game / pre game / practice interviews

I’ll read this in a bit I’m about to takeoff from an airport. My point was I didn’t think teams can say they are tanking. That is not cool with the nba I didn’t think.

You are correct, they can’t say it and can’t sit star players with variety of (excuses) - but they can build a roster and manipulate rotations during games to accomplish the goal.

I keep up with the bottom 5 teams .. they all stay within 1-3 games of each other which mean they can’t afford to get too far ahead or they end up outside the 14%

If more fans thought of it that way - then they wouldn’t be stressed

If you think lack of execution is the same as intentionally tanking, then you're even dumber than the rest of these losers, lmao.

Dimwit, having a team full of 19-21yr olds = lack of execution ..which plays a part in the tank … now go ZippityDoDaThat

Great game, but still think Green will have the most impact out of that draft. Mobley is going to be a very good player for as long as he wants, but I believe he is about what he will be for his career. His season stats are very good, but not all star like. He might make one or two all-star games and he good definitely be a mainstay on all defensive teams.

He's going to be a top DPOY candidate for a long time but yea Jalen is the best scorer of the draft

That's not how execution works dumbass. There's high-school teams with better execution that the Rockets, and guess what? Nobody in high-school is 19 yet (well, it's starting to sound like you needed a few extra years, but that's not the norm).
