Until we have a legit star, Harden isn’t coming back. Maybe Sengun takes another leap or Jalen takes a big leap and becomes one of those kinds of players next year, maybe we draft one, but right now we don’t have a guy like that. If we somehow manage to add a legit star player, I think bringing Harden back is a great idea. He’s still one of the top 20 players in the nba and can fit in with any type of team.

 

He is too old and too expensive.

If we get Wemby I'm all for it. I think we could win a title with that young/old duo, especially if another good free agent tags along to join Harden. Otherwise, we've already seen over and over again that when Harden is a team's best player, it's not quite enough to win a championship. I think he needs someone at least as good as he is next to him or it's not happening. Sadly, he never had that here, but maybe Wemby is that guy. (I doubt any other prospect in this draft could be.)

If James wants to come home for a reasonable contract while playing pg and take a shot at 2-3 year finishing of our re-build them I am all for that. You can still take Henderson in that case. Obvi Wemby as well. Lets say though that we draft at #3.

Harden 3 years 90 million

Siakam+Anuoby for #3+Josh Christopher and Ty Washington.

KPJ+Brooklyn assets back to them for Bridges.
