Danny Green disappointment thread

Why didnt Stone talk with Danny Green prior to trading for him though. So we just lost Eric for nothing

 

Don’t think it was crap at all. When it comes down to winning i welcome if guys have different ideas of what to do to win. It shows guys really care about outcomes and how to address it. It’s supposed to be that way. No winning locker room goes without tension. It’s competition at the highest level. That’s what it is

 

Why at his big age would he want to be on the rotation of a rebuilding team. He has multiple rings and he's almost done. Let him ring chase. He knows how to handle that. He hasn't been on a bad team in like forever

i guess my view is that we were winning due to the level of talent (primarily Harden) - not bc we had a strong culture... imo...

 

I dont think Green was ever in the plan... its about the pick swap... figuring on moving up 10 +/- from the Mil pick....

 

It's called rebuilding and every team in the NBA has done it btw. The reputation under Morey was horrible and the Rockets are still recovering. Almost every star player and coach has left here on bad terms under Daryl Morey

 

I am not disappointed because I didnt expect anything from him in the first place.
But I would have welcomed his tutelage for the young guys had he been fully invested to it.

 

Uh No not every team goes through a full rebuild from scratch. And not every team Has the worst owner in the league

every star player left under bad terms of ownership. Half the players play for morey now so your logic makes no sense
