Maybe Black and Latino and Asian judges are inherently better judges than White people since minorities tend to have to be better and work harder to get to equal spots than white people historically. If that's the case, then maybe Biden is the one simply picking the best nominees, while Trump was picking less qualified people because they were white.

A number of federal judge Trump picked and approved or endorsed by the GOP Senate has very little to no judicial experience. They are much less qualified than any of Biden's picks. The much larger issue here isn't a pick being of a political background, a particular skin color, or even some ideology. It's basic qualification. The GOP disregard for basic qualification is a much bigger issue than Biden's choice of qualified picks, whatever their race. Therefore, when I hear of the some membrer here complaining, I hear intellectual dishonesty. - Slapped down by the 11th appeal court and nearly everyone else for her handling of Trump's Mar-a-Lago document case. 8-year lawyer. Never tried a case. Never tried a case. Practiced law for only 3 years. A blogger when he was nominated. GOP Senate approved. (3 others as unqualified but that's enough for now)
That gets into a more complicated question about whether blacks are more advantaged than others and history clearly shows they haven't been. Leaving aside the issue of addressing historical racial injustice qualifications would still matter. That the previous Administration appointed a lot of judges who weren't qualified even according to the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary committee that would be a much greater concern than what race they were. Their appointment appeared to be much more ideological in nature so while their preference might not have been racial it certainly was due to factors beyond qualifications also. Again though several of these appointees appeared unqualified even by sympathetic Republican Senators. Now do you believe that things like ideology should be more important than qualifications and experience?
If Trump picked unqualified judges, he should have picked better ones. I don't think he should have considered race when doing so. I have no issue with Democrats picking Dem leaning judges or Republicans picking Rep leaning judges (or if we were blessed with a Libertarian President, that person nominating freedom leaning judges). I don't think we should pick judges based on race. Do you? Why are you deflecting and refusing to answer that question?
