I think Stone made as good a case for himself as he could. But not to acknowledge 3 yrs of losing is pretty lame.

With Tari and Jabari I don’t see how Grant fits. I’d love FVV. Cam Johnson would definitely be worth signing to an offer sheet. Ayo not shooting well; and we have 3 other shooting guards as good or better than him.

Middleton and Harden are both good adds only if we can build something really competitive around them. If not they‘ll just put us in the mediocrity treadmill.

Harden and Middleton would need a competitive team rather sooner than later.

And if they are 36 and the Rockets are starting to be competitive, it does not truly benefit them.

 

Harden playing hero ball with 4 other players just standing around and looking busy is not a recipe for success.

I fully support Harden coming back and ending his career here ... but ... as the 6th man, first off the bench.
