Yes they did, Sengoat says it loads. Making up bullshit when the evidence is all over the forum makes you look disingenuous.

    I agree, but again:

If he DOESN'T earn his time, we end-up with a SAC/Bagley situation where there is no more trade value.

So that's something a Front Office must consider. There are risks/benefits in each pathway.

you certainly can and considering that players under 20 were effectively banned from the NBA for about 60 out of its 75 years of its existence it would be distinctly anticlimactic.

No matter what stat you put up - everything, good and bad, is a function of Green being an abnormally high usage player relative to his efficiency to an extent that most players his age just aren't.

This is mostly because the Rockets just don't GAF about being good at basketball for the last few years(though in a few years he may be joined by others) and have obviously given him free reign, for better or worse.

This basically underpins any list you throw based on accumulations of counting stats - it's just not that persuasive and like you said, will be less so as others accumulate similar counting stats.

no the last game is just a hair that broke camels back... this is a regular game for jalen... his 30 bombs are an exception..; even when he scores 20 its always on some shitty efficiency and he ruins teams play and wastes his teammates effort...

hes really not a good teammate..sorry you need more than cute looks and nail polish to be a good bb player and a good teammate

Also a kooky reminder that Franz Wagner - who is all of 6 months older than Green - doesn't qualify for these age based stats because his birthday is in August.

Like, if Orlando version of Bradeaux did "best blah blah under 20.5, 21.5," it'd be pretty epic

Doesn't change the fact that it's being said, and makes the people claiming it's not look either ignorant or flat out full of bullshit.

The list had TS%, and Green was in the top half … with every player on the list an eventual all-star.

You can keep banging on usage rates and counting stats, but you are just ignoring facts.

If you want to start comparing era-adjusted true shooting percentage and Jalen Green with that list, please be my guest.

Here he is against Kobe at age 19, from earlier in the season:

    Code:

Do you think Shaq and Eddie Jones helped give Kobe easier looks?

Kobe also averaged far less pts for his career before 21. So if he expanded to Green's usage with no one at the caliber of a prime Shaq, do you think his ts% would drop?

Are Edwards, Booker, LaMelo, Barrett a different era? Your entire argument was the list was era-specific and due to the increased usage of young players now. I point out his efficiency is still top half and you switch to “it’s a different era.”

You are either being intentionally obstinate or trolling for effect. I suspect the latter, and yet I fell for it. My mistake.

I have no idea, entirely different player in a different era.

I can just say that relative to his era he wasn't as inefficient as Green, and that Green is unlikely to match his achievements

So if it's a #2 pick curse, i guess we should go ahead and trade Green and the #2 pick if we don't get #1/Wemby. Scoot is a guaranteed bust at #2.
