Its time to discuss trading Jalen Green while he's still worth a damn

I am in favor of trading anyone if the deal is right.

That being said Jalen turned 21 in Miami the night before the game - so him having an off game was expected by me at least.

Don't know, part of the doubts about Green are related to his inconsistency and possible questions about his work ethic/focus on the game. Basically, how seriously committed to performing is someone. Big party, small game the next day...some might say.

Personally, I don't even think that way, they are young, 21st birthday is an important one, etc.

    Just some discussion fodder lol.

The really important issue for discussion here is: how come a fancy-dress Prada dude decides to go with "shirtless" for his BD bash?

So you know it's something not reasonable as a 21st birthday is a big deal for anyone and still decided to post it to help create a narrative that he doesn't care because it's spicy fodder?

Ya he partied on his 21st birthday. Anyone who draws any conclusions from that are silly. You are stating here that you understand you can't draw anything from it.

In most cultural circles the 18th and 20th are more important due to the relevance of adulthood and coming of age.

In the US it's made big because you are forbidden to drink under the age of 21.

In Europe I see 16 yr old teenagers drinking themselves into coma.

Why do you think I'm following you around? You post here often. I do. You bump threads to the top and I see them and comment. I was in this thread posting without your engagement and now you come in saying I'm following you around.

Why do you keep on thinking your some main character? Do you have basic traits of a human with basic cognitive functions like object permanence?

I exist outside your sphere of thought.

i understand why mobley stans posing as kpj stans wanting green gone but i just find it weird for sengun only fans to want to get rid of a player sengun himself wants to play alongside with.

I haven't seen a single Sengun fan want to get rid of Green. It's the KPJ stans (DD, Bobbythesmall) who want Green gone.

This thread was even started by someone who thinks KPJ is better. Yet, the usual suspects take it as a pretense to attack so-called "SOF". There are maybe one or two actual "SOF" on this site, and a lot more people who try to pretend "SOF" are a bigger issue.

I don't want to trade any young talent until we have a real coach that can figure out what we have and what fits together.

Seriously. Their skillsets exactly compliment each other and create space for each other.

Why wouldn't you want Sengun next to Green who draws doubles after screens leaving Sengun with plenty of space to operate in the high post?

Why wouldn't Green want to play with Sengun who will give him easy buckets when he moves well off ball?

I just put them all on ignore and the forum actually becomes bearable again …. Jabari has good game

SOFs “ Silas says great game for Jabari, if it was Sengun it would only be good”

It’s okay to want Sengun to become great without dissing every other player on the team…

this is not an off game...this is regular jalen...the off game is a good game you get from him once in a blue moon ie when he stumbles into a hot shooting night

Oh good thing we have these things called "career averages" that incorporate the good and bad games into an... Average.

His career average before 21 is around 20 ppg on 54% ts which puts him around the same production at this age as Booker or Ant and well beyond guys that his detractors say are Green's "trajectory" like Beal or Lavine.

I dont like the way green play and he think he is the best player on the team and can do whatever he wanna. No matter if he got a good or bad day ( 70% of the games are bad) he takes most attemts dont share really the ball takes like 1k iso shoots. He dont care about win or lose just wanna be the hero with most points. Otherwisee if he figure out like last game vs miami he suks with shoots play defense let other player take shoots like kj or smith. He got zero bbiq and didnt improved from last jear. He can only jump thats all

He takes the most attempts because this is the NBA and guards have easier time setting into their shots. Do you see how many seconds come off the shot clock just to get Sengun in post position and getting a clean entry pass? It eats up more than half the shot clock. Guards naturally can get up shots quicker especially someone like Green who also is tasked to take all the bad shots when the play breaks down.

Last night there were 3 specific fga from Green that were bad shots purely as a result of the play breaking down and his teammates just dumping him the ball with like 3 seconds left while he's still being defended heavily. Green has no problem trying to get Sengun shots. This team should be spamming the Green Sengun DHO and pnr play but it seems like that's like 25% of the team's offense when it should be over 50%.
