Sure yes if you can work from home and shop at another store.

You don't need to play video games, read Harry Potter, or watch Marvel Movies for survival. There is a big difference between what we need to do versus what we would like to do and there have a lot of latitude on how you spend your dollars on entertainment.

I hope you are retired my man. This is a lot of dedication to a single schtick. But man if I'm at retirement age I would hope to be spending time with grandkids or traveling not being online spamming content about Wokeism.

This Wired review of the game gave it 1/10:

Review: 'Hogwarts Legacy' Has No Magic | WIRED

I haven't played the game, and I probably won't. Maybe it's mediocre. But 1 out of 10? The review is focused on culture war stuff, very little about the game itself. And this doesn't seem much different than the anti-woke crusaders droning on about how Velma is the worst thing to ever hit a streaming platform.

It's one publication and I doubt it's done for any other reason besides increase engagement.

There is an army of outrage anti-wokeness content on social media like YouTube that pales in comparison to these type of articles. For every one article like this there are 60 YouTube videos outraged about it. That's so it the actual real life literal ratio. Not even an exaggeration for effect.

Wired is a major publication. If that's the editors' reason, it's pretty dishonest. Basically, we shouldn't trust their reviews going forward is what you're saying.

We shouldn't. The author who reviewed the game probably didn't even play it. Look at their review history. It's reviews about dildos and vibrators and they decided this person should review a game. The individual was not a game journalist. It was obviously done for click bait. Major publications aren't immune to click bait.

Wrong the majority of viewers and critics hate Velma and the ratings are terrible

Hogwarts is the number one game sold in the world

you can read up on JK Rowling opinions on women’s rights
    @AroundTheWorld @Commodore @ROXRAN

I suspect the majority of viewer think it's "meh" (like any number of other shows), and some loudmouths on the internet who have a culture war angle to push are the ones flooding the internet with tweets and youtube videos insisting it's the worst thing ever.

This is not even a good analogy you bring up

the trans lunatics hate two people the most
    JK Rowling and Dave Chappelle

chappelles shows sold out regardless of all the lunatics protesting him

and same with JK Rowling , Harry Potter doesn’t suck because a bunch of trans people hate the author

woke lunatics attacked Dave for telling jokes but he and his security beat the living crap out of the woke activist

    @Salvy

JK is a billionaire, her security team is no joke
Let’s see them try to harm her

your analogy to Velma is not a good one but
You can tell how successful a show that is HBO by ratings

    video games are straight forward
You can buy the game online or store
Success can easily be tracked by online play and sales

People hate Velma because of the content not because they hate HBO
Trans lunatics hate Hogwarts because it’s associated with JK Rowling
They started this boycott two years ago

Some people don’t get the idea of a boycott

boycott means they don’t want you to consume or buy something

There was no boycott of Velma on HBO either people saw the first trailer or episode and said it sucked or just weren’t interested

there was a boycott called by woke trans lunatics on this game for two years
Now it’s been released and it’s selling millions

that’s what you call a boycott failure

vegans tried to boycott KFC and woke people tried to boycott Chick-fil-A
    The chicken won

Positive impressions so far besides the fact that any amount of ray tracing tanks my framerates well bellow 60 fps even with DLSS. I am running it at 4k though.

Hogwarts Legacy is the biggest Harry Potter game launch of all time | UK Boxed Charts
Physical sales up 80% over last year's big fantasy game, Elden Ring

Compared to last year's big fantasy release, which was Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy's first week sales are up 80%.

82% of Hogwarts Legacy's sales were on PS5, with the remaining 18% on Xbox Series S and X. Digital sales will likely reduce that gap between the two platforms as Xbox's digital share tends to be higher than it is in physical (in part due to the popularity of the digital-only Xbox Series S).
