Smh at folks saying Jabari hasn’t been playin well. I disagree. He has t been shooting well but he does all the little things . Active on the boards and defense. Fights thought the screen and recovers. His shot is jsut broken right now but pretty much everybody’s shot knthis team is inconsistent. We don’t have a knockdown shooter anywhere on this roster. Our shooting shooting coach is failing us as much as any asisant coach and let’s not even bring up Silas
The Dirk one was a high arc shot and at medium slow release. It doesn't have to be quick but accurate. The problem he shoots the 3 in the middle of the shot clock more than when it is winding down. Bird
It’s insulting, but let’s call it what it is…..a chance for him to be professionally coached for the first time in his career.
I would have no issues with them sending him down to the g-league today. TBH, I am very disappointed in the guy and very concerned about his attitude to boot. I just do not think it will happen this year so I have no issues with leaving him up. Next year we should be trying to win so if he still sucks then he needs to be sent down.
Great, keep it up! His last game scoring 20 was 12 games ago. He has about 10 games scoring 20 on the season. He is averaging 11.8 on 38%/30% from the floor. If he can string a few 15-8 games together we have some momentum building. I want him to be successful. I'm glad he took 16 shots, maybe this is the new distribution of touches. In a developmental year, everyone should be getting volume touches and experience.
While he played great tonight he somehow managed to airballs 2 open threes in the fourth quarter. That was soo strange.
Lol to be honest he had a phenomenal start and then just bricked. I give it to him defensively, the short ish Heat were looking for him though.
I'm not passing judgement on Jabari until he plays with an experienced point guard. Can't forget he's still only 19. That said I feel like many of his struggles are the result of a lack of confidence.
This is an organizational developmental failure. Everyone looks horrible. I'm thinking this is for the tank. Next sesson I'll be calling for people to be fired if there's no improvement
It's aging better than Jabari's shooting did last night. After a hot start, he couldn't hit a jumper to save his life, per usual. Ended up just 3 for 9 from deep, with one of the makes being an unintentional bank shot, and two of the misses being airballs. Early on, I sent a text to a friend predicting that the same people who say "you can't judge him from only 50 games" would overreact to one good shooting game - but I was wrong. They overreacted to one good shooting quarter.
He did have a great game defensively so I would chalk this one up as a good game. I am not too impressed with this Heat team though.
Yeah, I also watched Darko Milicic's first season, Brian Cooks first season, Chris Bosh's first season, Kevin Garrett's first season, Stromile Swifts first season, etc. Cool story bro?
