Dude is a good guy, but definitely a liability. I think KPJ is going to be better choice at the gaurd position anyways, so trading J Green for a solid PF or Big would be the best move. JG would do well on a Phoenix of Sacremento honestly.

the common ground some sengun only fans, and kpj/mobley stans share is their weird a$$ desire to trade green.

Their blind adoration for their players make them lash out at green, quite sad.

I think it's still too early.

Although based on his trajectory and improvement, the conversation needs to be had much sooner than a lot of people want to acknowledge.

Detroit for wiseman or Bagley. Disappointing #2 picks carousel.
Not sure what DET is doing. Duran looks like a hit and Isiah Steward is good too. What is the reason for Wiseman and Bagley?

Green has a higher value than those at the moment, so we may be able extract a FRP as well.
Cade and Green on the same team will be comedy.
There were reports in 2021 that DET was hesitant between the two. Now you can have both!! What a deal!!

I think he still has the potential to be the best player in his draft class, but I question the bball IQ. He’s got the talent; can he put all the rest of it together? I’m just not sure. I don’t see a 2-way player.

If he doesn’t make a major leap in year 3 his value will tank. But how can we move him until we see what a competent coach can do with him?

I’d definitely consider trading him for a top 5 pick or as part of a package for a young star, but I’m fine holding him for one more year to see if the light comes on with a new coach.

You can make an argument that we might be better off trading Jalen for big value and moving KPJ to the 2-guard. But it’s probably too early to give up on Jalen.

If by sending out Jalen could get rid of Silas and Stone, that might be more enticing.

I don't guess he just partied in Miami, but I guess Miami is a glitter city for guys like that.

OP wants to trade Green to Phoenix or “Sacremento” but for WHOM, exactly? All while keeping KPJ?

    Nice

Completely dumb idea. He's one of our cornerstones. Let's see what we get in the next draft and give 1-2 years to gel before blowing it up.

Good idea, which player from his draft class with more 30-40pt games would you trade him for? I'm sure there's loads right? No point trading him unless we're getting one of the I'm assuming loads of players his age who are better scorers (you know, the thing he was drafted to do) right?

Imagine if Booker, Kobe, Beal, and others would’ve gotten traded in their 2nd season for being inconsistent. Yikes!!

I was mainly talking about that archetype of scoring 2 guard, but absolutely with those other 2

    Too soon to give up.

    Lots of potential.

Needs to get a real coach and work on defense and consistency.

    Then he will get there.

    Silas years = wasted years
