If they were sure that he would make it to 12 then I'm all aboard the Richardson train. That way we could get Carter or Andersen with #2. This team desperately needs an very mobile QB.
Like I said, this is a weak QB class. The media is doing it's regular little "spit-shine" on the better players. Especially Young. Neither are worth our top pick. Get your QB at 12. Defense at 2.
I'm not hating or anything. It's their job to hype up the best players in the draft. Whether it be a weak draft or a good one. This is a weak draft.
2. Houston Texans: EDGE Will Anderson Jr., Alabama "Blessed with rare athleticism, a lightning quick first step and violent hands, the Bulldogs defensive tackle makes a living in the opponents' backfield." 12. Houston Texans (via CLE): QB Anthony Richardson, Florida "Sizeable height and length for the position, with an intimidating structure. Overly poised for a player with such little experience. Very comfortable in the pocket and has the instinct to step up when it collapses or escape the impending rush." 34. Houston Texans: WR Kayshon Boutte, LSU
If Colts trade up to #1, instead of Texans taking 2nd choice in QB at #2 they should trade with Seattle for #5. They would still get the 2nd QB and probably Seattle's #20 and maybe additional 3rd rounder. Seattle would do this as they would have choice of either Carter or Anderson. This would also put the screws to Chicago for trading with Colts as they would lose out on both.
Yeah, I have pointed out before, the description for Anderson and Carter are word for word identical. Someone didn’t proofread before publishing.
Though I would have to pinch myself if this came true, there is zero chance that we are going to just sit there at 12 and have Richardson fall to us. Anyone after us in the draft that has even the slightest need for QB would be able to see this playing out and would jump in front of us.
Let me remind you all how severely hyped Mitch Trubisky was. He was supposed to be better than Mahomes and Watson. Now I dont even know who he plays for.
True but since that draft the highly touted first QBs selected have worked out pretty well. Mayfield Murray Burrow Lawrence
you are saying this because of Bryce being hyped? No comparison this makes sense if your were talking about levis.
