Yah, sorry, I don’t agree with you on this at all. The British monarchy in 1776 is not the same as the monarchy (in terms of authority and role) in 2023. You don’t live in in all of those monarchies either. You’re closer, but you still are speaking on behalf of at least 11 other countries. My point is I won’t pretend to speak for these people. There are no clear abuses of power from these institutions in the modern age — not the 12 in Europe. Certainly nothing different than the abuses and mistakes of democratically elected heads of state. not sure why you think I accept “birth privilege.” I accept that citizens of those 12 countries may want to be represented by a continuous group of people based on blood line. Until that affects me, who am into usurp their right to determine the governmental system of THEIR country. We aren’t talking about nations responsible for well documented human rights abuses like China or Saudi Arabia or UAE. The age of dynastic, absolute monarchies ended many many decades ago in Europe.

Interesting that you think determining how others should be governed means you care more about them. It’s one thing to oppose authoritative regimes abusing its citizens. It’s another to just generally think these people are “slaves” because they want to be governed (really only represented — these monarchies have almost no power anymore) by a particular family.
