Woke boycott failure: Harry Potter game and NEW HBO Series making Transactivsts mad like Megatron

There is levels of wokeness and this is the actual threat to being woke because people that have sensitive pro woke tendencies are looking at themselves and rightfully questioning what makes sense and drawing lines in the sand - this is a good thing - being complete woke includes the nonsense acts and I have nothing against people that think differently but I applaud when people exclude nonsense - this is a win in itself and good for JK Rowling

 

I'm just confused how one game is woke because you can create trans characters in it and one game isn't when you can do the same thing.

Maybe you can explain it to me or maybe you can fins some youtuber to think out your reply for you?

I think it's something you don't even watch the videos you link too, Asmon one wasn't even really about the lame culture war you engage in every day.

Howarts Legacy was top VIEWED game on Twitch and I do not doubt it sold very well but I do doubt it got even close to the numbers games like Elden Ring and Cyberpunk did.

Twitch views do not equal sales.

 

You're not talking about sales, you're talking about twitch views. You realize a top streamer can stream some random game and it would then be top streaming despite not even having 1k sales, right? It's just views, not sales, not at all equal to sales.

And if it did sell well more power to it, a pro-trans rights game, super woke game, is doing well.

I'm not a gamer so I don't care much about this issue. Even though I am supportive of trans rights and disagree with JK Rowling on this issue I think it's a real stretch to boycott a game that she had very little involvement in to make that point.

That said we have the right to vote with our dollars and our eyeballs. If you don't like JK Rowling for whatever reason you don't have to read her books, see movies based off of her books or play games based off of them. The same as if you don't like Disney because they are too woke then don't see their movies, subscribe to their services or visit their parks.

 

Lol, I'm playing dead space and highly likely going to at least buy this game on steam just to support them...

 

Hell yeah! If you don't like traffic don't drive or if you don't like long lines at the store don't buy anything.
