I wanted a 1st for this guy(and Stone should have traded him last year or last summer when team were begging for Gordon. Also, we need shooters I would like KENNARD because he is a shooter. We have no shooters on this team. Winning? Are you serious? I do not care if we had Durant, Silas would not playing him in the 4th quarter because he has 4 fouls. Silas would guarantee us that he would continue to LOSE.

Want to make a bet? I bet we gain five or more sports from the swap. Say $50 to the tip jar wager?

clippers are an injury away from making this swap a Great trade. (Paul George and Kawai Leonard are injury prone, so we banking on that.

Rockets already have enough young guys they need to develop…if this pick or whoever we draft with this pick can be traded for a serviceable vet in the offseason, that will be my preference

Now we have a reason to track the Clippers this year. Happy we sent Gordon out to a potential contender and also happy we have a good chance of swapping the LAC pick for MIL pick, this is likely the best Stone could come away with at this late date. The huge bonuses are we gain minutes for young guns and clear cap space for next year.

Essentially, 3 potential benefits from this move.

    Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time.

I wouldn't have left behind being a superstar in an amazing city like Madrid to move to Houston either, to be fair

We were always going to clear cap space next year. EG was essentially expiring since his last year was NG, Bruno and Gary both had team options on next year's contract, so let's not give Stone credit where credit is definitely not due.

A lot of the trades mentioned projected us taking back a bad contract or longer deal, he didn't do that.

Gordon needed to go. Was the return the absolute best it could be? Probably not. Still, getting anything for him now without taking on bad salary is a win as far as I'm concerned.
