You think this is the 90s when vets wanted to play for bad teams to prove they can still play and lead the youngsters? Boy is getting bought out with Wall and they're both Lakers bound.

Big difference imo. A 28th is actually worse than a 2nd rounder in some ways, but a late teens pick can be a legit NBA player ie. Sengun and Eason

No, the Brooklyn swap is for the Rockets pick

This is for the Mlwaukee pick - currently it would transfer as the Milwaukee pick is 28th and this one is 18th.

    Home Run by Stone.

Not after he sees this dumpster fire franchise up close.

I predict a nagging injury that prevents him from ever seeing the floor.

So the Clippers got rid of John Wall and picked up Eric Gordon and got 3 picks? So what did the Rockets actually get for Eric Gordon?

Traded Eric Gordon for expiring contracts and the right to swap picks likely to be in the 20's. That's a really bad return.

Whatever, it was time for Gordon to go. Danny Green is coming back from injury and can probably shake some rust off here, use it as a rehab year. Is he a good vet to have around? Has won 3 titles.

Clippers win out the year and we get the 27th pick.

the clippers pick isn't staying at 18

far from a home run. this draft also is extremely weak outside a select few names

As of today, we'd move up 10 spots in this draft. That's not a "bad return" whatsoever.

Let's put this way. Let's say we, instead, got a very low FRP pick in this draft for Gordon. I'd trade, for example, the 28th and 29th picks to move up 10 spots in a second.

Yeah. It really comes down to how bad/good the Clippers are down the stretch.

My guess, when it is all said and done we get to move up 5-6 spots in the draft.

It isn't a lot at all, but it is better than nothing.

It isn't enough though, Stone AGAIN over played his hand, but at least Gordon won't be taking minutes.
