Would this mean Noah has to trade him to Jason Terry’s GLeague team for the Rising Stars game?

We are not playing for anything, this would go against our purpose of tanking and would diminish the player as an asset and an individual. I understand the spirit, but I see no upside in this.

This. The only reason you would send a player like Jabari to the Gleague is if you are a team in win now mode and you want a player you think has potential in the future but isn't ready now to get some actual reps. He's getting reps with this roster regardless because winning isn't on the agenda. No need to destroy the man's confidence and plummet his value.

There have been a lot more top 5 picks with far worse starts to their career than Jabari especially those top 5 picks drafted at age 19 or younger.

There is a case to be made this is the only part of his career where we can experiment with his positioning without real impact. Let's give him minutes at the 5, and who cares? at the 3 as well.
We should be seeing specific actions for him off Jalen and Sengun. I agree completely, lets refocus the purpose, even limit his minutes if you want. But G League? Unless there is an injury, I would rather trade him first.

Eh to be fair, in the NBA, a top 3 picks being sent to the Gleague is kinda a big deal.

Why? Superficial reasons only. Once one does it more will follow. Not all players have the same development arc and they are coming into the NBA at too young of an age.

Jabari just needs to find some confidence. I think his shot will come, it’s too pure of a stroke to not come around. I would like to see him hustle more when he’s not involved heavily, it almost seems like he pouts when he’s not featured. Force the action, hustle and play defense.

Only two players in NBA history have recorded more 40-point games before their 21st birthday: 8 — James 5 — Edwards 4 — Green 4 — Doncic 4 — Durant Green turns 21 today [IMG] More:
He is a amazing player and he plays like Kobe but he just does not have that DOG in him like Kobe. Green is nice but if you make him mad we will just out a 40 burger unconsciously. If he is not push he will not do great things in games and that's why he will not be a Superstar in this league. He is going to be a Star and win multi scoring championship in this league but you must have that DOG inside you to lead a team to a Championship.

Time doesn't always equate to quality time. Don't you think he needs to be more of the focus and play versus people on his skill level than be thrown on a dysfunctional team where he is 4th man at best?

I'd actually be in favor of this. I know it seems bad, but he's really struggling right now. A little success might do him some good.

this can only help him...let him go down the valley improve his shooting, handles and CONFIDENCE...i only wish sengun had been sent to g league last year to chuck 15 jumpshots a game instead of playing 6 minutes behind danuel theis in nba

this is why tanking never works...bad teams just looking 'how it looks' and worry about reputation, then decide on moves, OTH successful teams do their thing, they dont worry about the optics...

This year is a wash and the goal is to tank so might as well play him. If he does not make a big improvement next year then send him down to get minutes. The tank job should be over starting next year so we will need players who are ready to contribute to winning. So far Jabari does not fit that description but with the time he gets this year and offseason work hopefully he will get there.

Jabari would miss all his punches then forget to put his hands up.
