NBA 2023 Trade Deadline Thread

At this point half the league has either touched a Larsa or a Kardashian.

 

What happens to picks that remain protected (ie don’t convey) is part of the details of the trade. Sometimes the trade details specify that it keeps rolling until the next year, but in this cause it apparently converts to a 2nd round pick immediately.

 

That cannot be real life.

 

It will be interesting to see the protections on that first.

Think of it this way. If the Lakers are bad enough to be top4, then the pick is in the range of 5-34. (Small possibility of it being further into the 2nd round if the Lakers are a late lotto team but the balls bounce their way)

 

Lol it would be in the range of 30+ if the LAL were in the Top4 of the lottery.

If not then yes 5-30.

Just buy out Simmons.

 

Doubt anyone has listened lol.

 

They would need to add some of those Suns picks or guys like Claxton just to get someone to even consider it. With Wall and WB about to expire Simmons is likely the worst contract in the league.
