As I said earlier I’m stating to believe that Biden’s stumbling and bumbling is really 4d chess.

Yes? I think I have repeatedly said that the government should be smaller and collect far less in taxes. In fact, the very post you quoted was about reducing the power of government.

Know that your taxes are going to help other poor people, both Republican and Democrats, illegals and citizens, Medicaid and Medicare, SSI and SSDI, food stamps, and so much more you are assisting your fellow man with. I want to thank you on their behalf for paying your fair share and may God bless this great plutocracy we call America!

Ronald Reagan fried so many brains. Also leaded gasoline.

Whether I want to help other people, and which other people I want to help should really be up to me though.
Reagan was hardly a libertarian. Also, he was out of office before I thought much about politics. He hasn't been POTUS since January of 1989. Since I am not in my 50s, that didn't have much influence on me. GI Joe was more politically impactful at that time.

Trump knows biden is actually just implementing his ideas. Trump was the first politician to talk about how China was screwing was us and how we need to rethink trade deals esp free trade. Biden has kept of trumps tariffs but got other countries to come alone. Trump is seeing biden as someone who's carrying his legacy in some parts. If Hilary would've won we never get the current tough on China trade deals. Just a fact .

I don't think MAGA realizes how similar the two are but biden is just competent version of trump. Biden believes in government and knows how to execute. Trump got his feelings hurt and didn't follow through.

Trump would rather have biden be president than DeSantis. I guarantee you this.

It never was...and you know this.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1: The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States

He's a stuttering b*stard at times but he did a hell of a job last night for a fossil of his age. This old ass dude even rope a doped the Republicans into giving up leverage around SSI and Medicare to raise the debt ceiling. You need to be more concerned with the GOP and those lying whores MTG and Boebert.

This may all be true (I didn't watch it, and I certainly like him over MTG), but what did he mean?

    Also, lighten up, Francis ;)

Provide for the general welfare, at the time, meant things like creating post roads, training the militia, and having a building for Congress, not giving people money. Direct payments from the federal government to individuals didn't come around until the 1930s (140+ years after that was written). So no, it hasn't always been that way.
