One supervised hero dose in a dark+quiet room will fix 80% of that. It's just a matter of divorcing a person's childhood trauma from the present and psilocybin is very good at resetting your perspective. People like KPJ are inadvertently self-programmed to believe the past can be happening right now. It's a simple neurological wiring issue.

You can't use that at your job though so I would recommend you look at EMDR therapy which is gaining traction and showing excellent results. Might be very helpful to your candidates. You should also read "The body keeps score" by Bessel van der Kolk. He's working on something called Neurofeedback which is also showing distinctly outstanding results in experiments.

You must have a really interesting (though draining) job. Btw I was the erratic kid and I was lucky that a second trauma in my life undid the link to the first trauma, so I was able to exercise consistent self-discipline after that. The second trauma was addressed early so it didn't stick. It's weird when I look back, I can't believe I'm talking about myself, it feels like I'm talking about a stranger. I discovered that everything I wanted to be (was into finance, economics) was a reaction to my childhood rather than a choice and my set of interests shifted dramatically (and successfully) into music and film. That's the risk you take when healing trauma, you have to be open to the possibility that - for example - maybe a "healed" KPJ doesn't really love being an NBA player as much as the other players.

Sorry for going off topic. Just want people to know there are certainly ways to get out of it. The solutions to these problems are improving every single year and people's own understanding of themselves is improving rapidly too. The stats for the next 10 years are going to be far better than the stats for the past 10 years so don't be discouraged by what used to happen.

Good chance to win MVP. High flying dunks, highlight plays and zero defensive responsibility, sounds like Jalen's game to me.

Sadly it is how the state of this franchise is.

You folks ought to discern here.

    Every franchise should think individually.

If you have raw ownership, a raw GM and a raw assistant level of head coach it doesn't make any sense to draft these many raw players.

It is just a lethal cocktail. Not for the opponent.

The whole draft is not looking great, the 1st pick is on the shelf with chronic injuries, the ROY looks like prime Otto Porter w/o the shooting. Not bad but not amazing.

Basically Mobley and Wagner and Sengun are the shining stars and none of them really seem like they could be franchise level players at this stage absent dramatic improvement in key areas.

The second-year guard said the nature of the injury was such that it continues to hamper both the mobility and strength of his right leg, affecting his ability to dribble and get the requisite lift in his jump shot. Although Green doesn’t expect to miss additional games, it might take time for him to return to form.

“I've never had a contusion in my calf, so this was really my first calf injury,” he said on Monday prior to the Rockets’ game against the Kings. “It was just super tight. I couldn't really walk or anything like that. I didn't have, like I said, mobility in my foot like going up and down, left (and) right. Yeah, this one was very different. I've had hamstring injuries, knee injuries, but never calf so this was a bit different thing.”

“It was a little shaky in that first half,” Green said. “I didn't really stress it. My ankle's a little weak just because I haven't been using my foot, like really moving it like that, but it's feeling better. That second half, I started stretching it a little more. I got my mobility back, just getting a little bit stronger.”

“I think just finding shots in the flow of the offense,” Green said when asked how he can be more consistent. “Offensively, not taking such bad shots and maybe slowing down. And then on the defensive side, just being more aggressive, pressuring the ball more. Have a little more effort.”

lol imagine what would happen if he were to play 6 minutes games or 15 minutes a night like silas did to sengun..it would take him half a decade to adjust to that

Ya past two games he's making more advanced passes from his dribble drives.

Like I said Green has the potential to be a high assist man merely from his elite dribble seperation and blow by ability which results in defenses collapsing and creating open players. The problem before is Green just misses the open players he generates from his dribble drives and tries to force a tough make over like two big men.

Absolutely! Most overrated draft I can remember. Who was saying, I don’t recall, that this was best draft since 2003? bollocks!

Oh what are your thoughts on Green? A scrub version of Jordan Clarkson?

    This year?

    *Distance shooting is worse
    *terminally overdribbling
*Finishing at the rim is still a problem.
*foul drawing ability has slightly improved
    * TO's a problem
*marginally improved at creating assists but not good at connecting passes

    Defense

*At times low effort, but, Rockets such a basketcase team maybe it's excusable, IDK

I don't know if that makes him Jordan Clarkson. I know it makes him less than what I thought he would be coming into this season.

I mean it's simple. What was Jordan Clarkson doing at 20?

Edit: wouldn't terminally over dribbling considering that he averages less than 3 turnovers per game actually indicate he's significantly improved as a ball handler? He literally couldn't overdribble last season because then he would be averaging like 6 turnovers per game.

Exactly! That's why no one should judge Nix... he just 20, he's probably the next CP3 it's just no one is patient enough.

I'm all on board for this insane new rhetoric.
