That's exactly what you misogynists are doing - you are men trying to dictate to women what they should want.

And when a woman like Taylor Silverman explicitly says she does not want to have to compete against biological men, misogynist men like @FranchiseBlade ridicule and mock her.

It's literally misogyny at its finest.

Coming from the Left (which loves to see itself as the more virtuous side).

Taylor Silverman isn't the one being ridiculed and mocked.

Here is my hot take: being an asthmatic or having migraines does not put you in a different league. Gender dysphoria is what these transgender people have, but it should not put them in a different league either. Most sports also ban doping. So it does not matter if a participant cuts off their genitals, they are still in the league they were assigned to by birth. If they added some genitalia from skin their inner thigh, had bilateral mastectomies, and they’re taking hormonal supplements, they too are banned from participating for trophies because they’re taking performance enhancers.

If there is a real demand, and I am sure there is not one, unregulated leagues can be started where gender does not matter nor does hormonal supplements or blockers. But as is, it is wrong for transgender men to be participating in women’s leagues and it is wrong for transgender women to be participating in men’s leagues.

I appreciate you bringing this up again.

I was worried when they let inter-racial marriage and then gay marriage that we would see society fall.

I was certain that it was only a matter of time before we had pedophiles getting married to children and then people would marry animals.

It is all a slippery slope man... I told @SamFisher the same thing.

Just like gays spurred a lot of people to fall in love with cars, stuffed animals and other objects, I think we will see it happen with these transgender folks.

As soon as we recognize them and treat them normally, we are going to have people identifying as aliens, blacks and maybe even dragons like you said.

You can try to wiggle your way out of it by saying you are targeting me, but ultimately, you are mocking her and her legitimate cause. You are a misogynist.

It's often incels who act like that.

I'm pitching a buddy comedy where Tony Dungy and @droxford search schools for litter boxes for all the cat-identifying children that are swamping our schools.

I love how people bring up interracial marriages etc and go …

“but they called it beastality and used the same excuse back then!” It’s a hilarious straw man. Humans share 95% of their DNA with chimps, males and females share 99.9% (pretty much everything) so saying that someone who differs by 0.01 % from their opposite gender is ok as identifying as that, but then someone identifying as an animal is “so crazy!…they said this when Interracial marriages were happening”.

The irony is they see the animal analogy as an extreme exaggeration to the point they act coy, not realizing that a couple of % points stand between what they are defending as that. The liberals on this board can’t follow their own logic.

Yes, your history in addressing the injustices of women is almost as long and in depth as is your dedication to Skateboarding competitions. Lucky both skateboarding competitions and the women's movement has stalwart defenders like you supporting the cause.

In fact, I have been speaking up against Islamist subjugation of women and gay people, while you have been defending Islamists at every turn.

    So, yes.

What does it matter from a discussion perspective that someone named "Stalking Cat" killed themselves. People commit suicide all too often.

Further, the leap from someone identifying as a different gender and then identifying as a house cat is enormous.

Do you believe that homosexuals are mentally ill?

What is the basis for your opinion? Did you know him? Do you have access to his journals? Is there widely known cases of him trying to kill himself in the past because he wanted to be a cat?

This is the same critical logic you have used in the past - an opinion is only as good as it is informed and has something factual to base it on.

I have no idea why he killed himself. He may have killed himself because of severe depression, because of financial difficulties, relationship issues, mental illness or health issues. it could be any number of things.

To jump to the conclusion he killed himself because he wanted to be a cat is lazy. It MAY be true, but there is no facts to support it - so it is just conjecture.

“Only a few percentage points” (and millions of years of divergent evolution).

The comparison is ludicrous on multiple levels. A person claiming to be a cat and simultaneously complaining about not being treated according to their identify is exhibiting a uniquely human emotional response.

I have been in agreement on the subjugation of women and homosexuals from fundamentalists. We just different ideas on how to combat it.

It is funny how your "defense" of groups usually is an excuse for intolerance.

But at least the hundreds of millions of folks deeply involved with skateboarding competitions know that you are with them. You always take a positive and powerful stand on the issues that matter most.

Okay? People have been passing for other races for a really really long time.

Further, it is so uncommon that this woman is famous for doing it....

On the list of social problems, people passing for another race is WAY down on the list..... next to the concern about people trying to pass for being a cat.

You could identify as Black culturally for sure, but being Black in America has a very special inclusion: your ancestors were forcibly brought here and your ancestral identity was deliberately erased. I know where my ancestors came from because they were considered people when they arrived to the US over the last 400 years.

Yeah, you can try to act like it is an isolated issue, but if the stats are correct of there being 1.5 million transgender people, then it certainly is not isolated and limited to skateboarding. Even your "ally" @rocketsjudoka (who is more moderate than you are, in terms of being a leftist) already said he trained a transgender athlete. That's where the argument then shifts - "but that person wasn't even better than all the girls, so it's ok". No, it's not.

It's really quite simple, and I explained it already.

If my daughter ever decides to participate in sports competitions, she shouldn't have to compete with biological males. If even one little girl gets discouraged from competing in sports because someone with an unfair advantage forces his way into her competition, then that's wrong.

Whenever you have social change, or you have additional social rights provided - there are some that will attempt to go too far. It is inevitable. We saw it with efforts by some homosexuals to force a private church to marry them or force private businesses to make their wedding cakes, etc. That does not delegitimize social movements or social changes. Ultimately society reaches an equilibrium that most of society honors for awhile.
