I will be much more engaged come year 3, especially for Sengun, that's when big men usually come into their own. Jalen, if by next year it hasnt matured enough to put the makeup away and be consistent on the court I'm done with that . . . .thing.

I don't think anyone thinks Silas is great, but there's certainly a loud group of idiots who want the Rockets to get rid of their best player not named Sengun, KPJ.

the biggest plus of him was supposed killer mentality and off the court workaholic. You can see on defense and by the way his body looks that, for now, it seems like complete lie

You need to remember one thing - most of our games are not on NBA level. Teams are half assin us on defense. All those big scoring nights when the shot is actually falling are looking like scrimminage. Ask your self, since Green is labeled as genius scoring, how would he score against top defensive players in playoffs? I will tell you - he wouldn't score almost at all

    "Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit."
    ---Bernie Mac (RIP)

If you can call that cross-armed courtside somnambulation "coaching".

Give him the max? I’d settle for him having the court awareness of shoe rubber.

absolutely true. KPJ looked like a genius in that 50 pt/ 10 ast game, which we actually won. Were the Bucks giving it all that night?
it’s very hard to make big conclusions from these games, even if both KPJ and JG have shown flashes of legit brilliance

I look at their mediocre games rather than bad or brilliant games.

If their mediocre games are good enough, they will be good enough IMO.

He is either brilliant or flatout bad, only those games where he went to the rack consistently stood out.

Team defense will come and he likely improves there.

Rockets Legends Hasheem Thabeet and Stro Swift feel a bit disrespected

In the NBA anybody can get hot. Its not measure of a player. I am very dissappointed by how Jalen with NBA resources over past 1.5 year didnt manage to get way bigger and stronger. I see almost No progress in his body. Miss me with ectomotphic **** because i am one myself and its all bs, you just got to eat 1000kcal more and you get bigger
the biggest problem is negative presence when the shot isnt falling. Just bad basketball IQ and no will power. They dont defend, rebound, create open looks or provide spacing. They look like Garrison Matthews with dribble.

Sengun EG Tate KMJ Eason and even Jabari - their presence always brings atleast something

We could go through this hand wringing now, or... hear me out... we wait a couple of years to evaluate like a rational person would.

I disagree on Ego, he has been good when it was convenient to him.

He was pretty bad when the young ones needed him earlier this season to set the tone.

He just stared at Jabari instead of calming him, body language checked out in many games.

Eric Gordon has always been a ME FIRST player - it is just magnified for everyone to notice now.

yes he was but he also defends at highest level, and when the team plays within a flow he adapts to it. he forces **** and is good at it, but he does it when he sees his team cant do nothing. and with all due respect, i dream of Jalen to hit open threes at the rate EG does. You cant leave that MF open at no times

No he doesn't he picks and chooses games in which he plays D.

I loved him when Harden was here, now he is just in the way.

Regular double-doubles and frequent triple-doubles needed before giving max to any player.

Trade Jalen for another top 5 pick in this draft. Keep swinging.
