I don’t disagree but let’s say we do draft Young/Stroud. I’d be 100% ok with going defense with the majority of the reminding picks. Meco strength is defense so if we don’t draft defense then what’s the point? Next year, I want to go all out to get Harrison Jr because I think he’s the real deal.

If they dont draft a QB this year and win 6-9 games like a lot of guys on here think they're going to do. (Not me) then they will need those 1st rd picks to get their franchise QB. BTW, Love Harrison, he's going to be a star.

I hope we can get Harrison, but he'll probably go #1 overall

He'll turn 24 a third of the way into the season his rookie year.

Not sure how that will change his draft stock. Curious to see. I'd definitely take him in the third if he's there.

We were talking about next year's draft and Ohio State player Marvin Harrison Jr.

No way a WR goes #1 when Caleb Williams is there

This dude looks like a future HOFer, a generational talent. Would you rather draft the next Andre Johnson?

Oh, thanks. He is a great player no question but I don’t think any receiver has ever been the number 1 overall pick and don’t see that happening with him.

Forgot him. Point is WRs don’t go first, except Johnson, and I don’t see that changing with Harrison especially with some high profile QBs coming out.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious.. who do you like at QB for the Texans this year - Young, Stroud, or other?

Think we’re gonna have to spread that FA money amongst the offense too. Otherwise you’re looking at a skill position group consisting almost exclusively of first and second year players, that’s a lot of young and inexperienced blood to go along with rookie QB IMO.

Starting to warm up to him if we don’t get Bryce

Well, I am a Bama grad and think Young is the best in this class but I don’t want him to get drafted by the Texans. I think Stroud is the most ready of the rest of them.

I think that's what they will do. I would do differently because while next year there would be growing pains in 2 years the team should be ready to roll and all of these speedy impact guys will have the experience and have played to together, so they should have developed chemistry together.

But they will still have plenty of experience at the skill positions.

RB Pierce/Obi/Achane/Johnson very mature rookies and RB is the easiest position to be able to step in and play right away.

    WR's Collins 3rd season/Rodgers 3rd season/Moore vet WR, ST's guy/Metchie/Hyatt.

    TE's Akins/Quitoriano/Musgrave who played with Q at Oregon St./Howard

OL Tunsil/Green/Bradbury/Cann/Howard/Heck is a vet OL. Adding a young guy or 2 to the mix would be a good thing
