I think it's option b. He continues his crappy play even with a new lineup. His fundamentals are completely shot. Giddey worked on his horrible shot this summer and in just one summer at age 18 turned it around. I don't think green is smart enuff or has the proper Coaching to teach fundamentals. (Giddey had the great Andrew gaze to transform him into a stud)

Y'all really trust Lucas with this bunch? Lol laughable

Case in point. Wood still sucks at free throws . I thought the great Lucas was supposed to fix wood. Some players can't be fixed.

We took the wrong player. Buts it's ok cuz I'm in love(no homo) with Josh sengun and maybe garuba.

Even if Josh turns into a great pg, I doubt either green or Porter will be happy on bench , so they got a problem I think . (Although there is enough minutes between point guard and shooting guard for all three to coexist but I don't think Silas is smart enough)

U got 48x2 for minutes at pg and sg all game. That's 96. /3 = 33mins each guard of threes guards.

Can Silas do math ? Doubt it.

A couple late draft picks won’t be happy coming off the bench? Doubt it. Most likely scenario is that neither of them are starters

 

We'll get to see more of what JG is about. Is he the type to just coast through his rookie year because pressure on him isn't that high? Or is he the type who knows he's gotta start making noise if he wants to be a generational - how strong is he mentally

 

I don't think Green's return impacts our winning percentage. He will hopefully look better than he has previously. Green has a terrible plus/minus and we will see if that changes now with new rotations. Regardless, if Gordon and/or Wood get traded we will suck more whether Green plays well or not.

AND, it's okay to say that Green hasn't been very good this year. That's fine for a Rockets fan to say. It's the truth. His November splits aren't really better than his October splits as his 3pt% is even worse at 27.8% in November. He is a scorer in the NBA and his 3pt% has to improve a lot to make him a great scorer and have an impact in the league.

 

It's gonna be funny when some of you "get off my porch" critics will have to buy your grandkids Jalen Green jersey Xmas next year...

 

Those grandkids are going to be so upset when they see it's a Jalen Green jersey straight from the bargain bin at the Rockets shop.

I think it’s too early to know but I really don’t like what is see at this point in year 2. His basketball is straight dumb.

hes like super oblivious to what is happening on the court.

 

Green is a very talented player who has a losing gene.

 

Do people watch games?

Last night was a bad game for him in terms of missing shots. He was running the offense well and setting up teammates well and not turning the ball over. He wasn't playing dumb last night. He just missed jump shots.

 

And defensive assignments.

I’m starting to see what u mean about making excuses for Jalen.

 

I like him, but his BBall IQ is not good - his court awareness is very poor.

He needs a lot of work particularly on fundamentals - Silas is the wrong coach for Jalen.

Green's not an experiment. He's a major investment.

 

Offensively his bball iq was fine. Defensively he is helter skelter as is with everyone else as its just a munch of young dudes in wrong positions.
