My choice would be Darnell Washington. Great blocker. Awesome catch radius. His athleticism at his size is absurd. Mismatch city.

Is there a chance he’s OJ Howard? know OJ had an injury but those were the areas he excelled in as well. Still is a good blocker, just never got going pass catching wise. Looks like used goods at this point in his career (injuries didn’t help)

Who knows with injuries. Howard has been somewhat healthy and still hasnt been able to live up to the original hype. Washington is considerably bigger and just seems to create mismatches all over the place. DBs just bounce off the guy and he has great hands. He would be such a great decoy because he can block his ass off - it would really put the defense in catch 22.

How high in the draft is he projected? Would you spend the number 12 on him? I’m alright with taking the right TE high in the draft. It has become a very critical position in today’s NFL

I’ve seen him mocked from lower first to top of third

@cmoak1982 is right - there is a little disparity in the outlets and what needs teams have and where he may land. Combine results could make him a lock for the 1st round if he shows out. These next few years are chock full of awesome TE prospects so while I really like Washington I can probably point to a few other guys who would be pretty good for us too.

He would be a great get if we can't Mayer.

He reminds me of Benjamin, just a huge mismatch. I wish he had the kind of speed/separation that Pitts creates. But definitely my number 2 option for TE!

Thanks. So not 12, but maybe top of 2nd or 3rd.

Can’t see him falling to the 3rd. Won’t be surprised if he goes in the 1st.

IMO, Young and Stroud are neck and neck. In this case I would choose Stroud. He seems li KJ e the safer pick. Young reminds me of someone's kid brother playing with big boys.

They only have three starting in the NFL and will have 4 this fall.

How people misuse BMI and how it is potentially useful are two different things. Getting a body fat percentage from calipers is really well beyond the scope of anything BMI needs to be used for. Even body fat percentage alone tells me nothing about a person’s health.

If I say that x disease is really taking its toll on people with a BMI over 30, it shouldn’t be read as everybody with a BMI over 30 is vulnerable or even unhealthy. From that segment of the population you would need to weed out the actual at risk. It’s an incredibly broad metric that is very flawed but not completely useless.

It is however useless in this thread, as to your original point. I don’t need to know an NFL player’s BMI.
