    The fanfare for this hire is more than I ever remember seeing as a Texans fan, though I might just be forgetful. Was there this much celebration for Kubiak? O'Brien? Anyone?

    Probably not. The Texans are at the bottom of their franchise history and they finally pulled off a move that is almost universally applauded. You should see the celebration when sales ropes in a new season ticket holder.

    Caserio revealing that DeMeco told them in the first zoom interview that he wanted this job and let’s make it happen is interesting. Basically he had the job that day but they had to stall for rules
