No, that would have been tic-tac-toe! (and CHI. would have had the center square!)

I keep seeing Quinton Johnson mocked at #12 in multiple drafts.

It's not an overpay. I still consider Fields to be a good QB. He has not had a good team around him. We already have a better OL than Chicago. Plus we have a pretty good RB to take the pressure off of him. All he needed was help. When you've been doing it all yourself for 2 seasons it's hard to be great.

Whatever it may be, hopefully DeMeco can decide on who to draft. If he doesn't like any of the top QBs in this draft or simply feels/wants one of the defensive studs instead, Texans have to listen to him.

If Bryce Anderson is drafted number one overall this year, I will eat my shorts live on camera, retire from clutchfans, and give everyone here $10.

Campbell is intriguing, as is the kid from Clemson. The guy I've been focusing on because he's appears to be able to play the run, coverage and blitz well is Drew Sanders...

Was hoping to get him at #34, but believe he'll rise as draft get closer. He's from Denton and listed at 6'5", but moves like a smaller LB--very fluid and packs a punch.

I don't like us taking Johnson that high. Here's an eval of him, which I'm more in line with from Seahawks site... https://www.fieldgulls.com/2023/1/2...ing-report-tcu-wide-receiver-quentin-johnston

If he's there at #34, then I think there's value at that point. At 12, I think that's a reach. For that matter, I don't see any receivers worthy of top half of Rd1, later in the round or early 2nd is where I'd look to target one.

If Chicago keeps the pick I agree. If they trade it, good chance we won’t see you here.

    Lol

It's a joke based off the fact that Bryce Young is the guy's name. Bryce Anderson is a safety at Texas A& M who isn't draft eligible.

Someone earlier inadvertently wrote Bryce Anderson instead of Young.

I like Drew Snaders and Jack Campbell a lot. I think they are the second and third best linebackers

Trust me, Bryce Andersen will not get drafted #1. As a matter of fact, Bryce Andersen won't get drafted.

For the record I believe 0 smoke from Chicago, but if Sapp isn’t lying and the Bears are interested in Young at 1 and willing to trade Fields….

Tell me we wouldn’t be over the moon if we got away with this:

    1.02 Anderson/Carter
    1.12 (trade Justin Fields)

Not interested at all. He’s not a good QB

Draft Jalen Carter and trade up for Anthony Richardson. Sign a vet qb (or let Mills have a shot with a new OC) for Richardson to learn behind
