Considering the fact we've lost almost every game with the offense running through Sengun, I'd like to see KPJ get his mojo back. He's our closer & best 4th quarter option
Sengun just turns it over and gets blocked in the 4th. He’s not the same when defenses crack down and start playing for real
Lol i ve read all aviable comments of yours dating back dec 3 2021 . You are much more into sengun than i ever been even i am a sof . Such dedication to hatred must be noted.
Yeah for sure. Someone needs to call out the best player on the team sometimes... I mean, Pop called out Tim Duncan constantly!
This an example of a hater. U will see more of these guys as sengun gets even better and better. Can't make everybody love u
Except that Sengun is among league leaders in offensive and defensive ratings during crunch time in the league.
I hope KPJ is ok on a personal level and I hope he is studying on a professional level. It really felt like he had plateau'd has a PG and some time away from the games gives everyone a chance to digest the experience and adjust their perspective to a bigger picture. He will be a better player when he's back, I'm sure. Knowing how organizations work, I think what's going on is they've massaged his ego by telling him they're holding him out so that the other guys learn how to play without him. You make him feel like a part of the management while he's in the principal's office. This happens all the time at your job, and if you don't know it then you're the one they're doing it to lol. I'm glad the team is getting an opportunity to try out new things though!!! Sengun has really stepped up. For Jabari, I'm done excusing his poor shooting, there has been plenty of time to adjust to NBA range and it's 100% on him from the ASB onwards. For Green, I just want to see consistent defensive effort (regardless of results) and improved decision making on drives. With Sengun I want him to keep improving that defense centimeter by centimeter and continue to stay away from whining to the refs. Now that I think about, all our youngsters were acting like Eric Gordon to some degree. - Never see the open corner 3pt shooter on drives. - Whine to the refs CONSTANTLY and wonder why you don't get calls. - Shoot with no regard to who on the floor is the hot hand. - Play defense only until it's slightly difficult. - Blame everything on others being young. Thank you for the vet leadership Eric! The kids learned so much!
Back to the plan going into the season when Silas said KPj would have the ball less in his hands and the team taking advantage of his CnS 3's. The plan comes together now: 1) as the trade deadline (Feb 9th) sees Eric Gordon either get traded or sent home like John Wall in the past. 2) Jalen Green has taken more of the facilitator role with confidence. 3) Sengun is shooting 71% from 3 in the last 8 games. He can take more of that Olynyk role that I wanted Sengun to take prior to the season. I don't expect a continued 71%....but 36% is doable. An open Sengun 3 with KPj....was the same as an open 3 without KPj..... should continue to be an open 3 when KPj comes back. You done been exposed, otherwise....no more 20% from 3 stuff. 4) Jae'Sean Tate has come back and is now back in the swing of things. Helps ball movement. X-factor....? ------------ KPj no longer has to feel he has shoulder the burden of the whole team.... as was planned since preseason. But possibly waiting until after the All Star game.
He hurts others bc they have to cover for him. Dude flat out blows on defense. Can’t protect the rim, can’t switch, and can’t apply pressure at the 3 point line
