So just an update guys. Sorry I haven't been back to the thread I've been very busy. hey guys I apologize I havent come back to the thread yet,,, been very busy. So UPDATE: January 10th was our court date.... we won. The case was dismissed. The check for all the funds garnished was ordered to be sent back to our bank. Fast forward 2 weeks and we havent received anything yet back into our bank account. I start calling Wells Fargo (WF) and they told me they havent received a check from the courthouse and they want me to check with the courthouse (CH) to see what address they sent it to so WF could try to locate it. 7 days later and WF has no record of the check at all, Ive called the CH and WF atleast 20-30x this week trying to see what can be done if the check was lost in the mail. WF requested the CH to fax over a document stating the case was dismissed, and the check needs to be voided and a new check just needs to be reissued to us from WF. So the CH sends over a fax to WF with some information about the case but not the exact wording that WF needs to have. By now the CH is refusing to do anything more for me as far as another fax or a phone call to WF, Theyre saying WF can call them but they arent going to call WF. WF is saying they dont do outbound calls of that type and say that the CH can call them. So now 95% of my bank account right now is in limbo and I don't know how to get anyone to help me. Its extremely immature on both of them to refuse to call the other when I am the man in the middle who is the only one being effected by this. Makes me just want to sue the courthouse but I know thats not possible.
Government, bro. Every tax return is still faxed to the IRS because it’s more secure than any sort of internet transaction. You just don’t see that part.
