You’re making assumptions on why, Maye wanted to play for Brown. He says so repeatedly, meeting MJ and being a legacy.
He wasn’t afraid of Bryce Young lol

No need to make things up to try and help your argument

This 100%. People have been saying "but next years class" since forever, and it NEVER works out that way. Guys rise and fall all the time. When you have a guy who's been ranked as a top-tier prospect AND produced like one at every level (Bryce Young) then you take him. Because despite the discussion here, Drake Maye AND Caleb Williams don't have to come out next season...then what?

One final point, the year Joe Burrow came out, it was Justin Herbert that was the top-ranked guy FOREVER, then all of a sudden he was overtaken by Tua and Burrow... you just NEVER know. We've seen the Leinart's, Darnold's, Gabbert's, Jake Locker, Jamarcus' of the world who were projected to be highly rated and then turn into not much, and we still have people talking about waiting on Maye and Caleb Williams.

He was afraid of Bryce Young...LOL. He wanted to play and knew he wasn't going to beat him out.

A Heisman trophy winner who put up one of the best seasons in College Football HISTORY couldn't carry the jockstrap of a QB who shitted the bed his last 4 games of the season against below to slightly above-average competition? LOL. You are ****ing delusional.

Maye put up better numbers than Young with less talent around him and against a solid schedule. Bama didn’t play some gauntlet of a schedule. You’re too blinded to see that.
Young had 3-4 shitty games this season, same as Maye. Maye is superior in every way physically. It’s not even a debate

You keep ignoring bad games by your boys (Maye and Levis). Those last 4 games Maye played.....were not elite. 3 were just BAD. Bama played an SEC schedule and beat up K-State in their bowl (K-State that beat TCU for the Big 12 title). That is THIS year's schedule. Last season's schedule was tougher. Maye got BEAT DOWN by 5-7 Georgia Tech, among others.....

    This is fun.

4 star recruit, but superior in every way physically, played great against one of the worst defenses and then poorly against a poor defense. Overall played against poor opposition, especially in conference.

Not even a debate he is the best prospect.

You keep ignoring multiple bad games by Young and Stroud. Keep making excuses for them

Yeah, Miami, Notre Dame, Oregon, Pitt are all terrible teams right?
Stop the lying. How did Bryce do against ULM? Arkansas? LSU?

Pretty easy to beat up on APU, Utah state and Vandy

And any objective person, even not smart ones, such as yourself can see Maye is bigger, faster, stronger, much stronger arm and more agility.

These so-called bad games. I don't see them. Post the numbers....like I did. The Northwestern Game for Stroud was weather..I watched that game. Other than that, show me those bad game numbers.

They’re in the damn game logs. I’ve shown you them.
And stop making excuses about a bad weather game.

    For the 3rd time:

People can look for themselves...44 TDs, 6INTs in 2021....41TDs/6INTs in 2022.

These are the games you say were shitty....again:

    Norte Dame: 223 yards, 2 TDs/0INTs...70.6% completion%.
    Rutgers: 159 yards, 2 TDs/1INT....59.1% comp.%
    Maryland: 241 yards, 1TD/0INTs....60% comp.%
    Michigan: 349 yards, 2 TDs/2 INTs...64.6% comp.%
    NW: 76 yards, 0TDs/0INTs....38.5% compl.%
The NW was horrible weather. Both teams had less that 300 yards of offense...score was 21-7.

If that list is your Bad games........LOL.

I see you don't list Bryce Young's "bad games". Because their really aren't any....Well, average game against Arkansas and below avg game against LSU.

    https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/bryce-young-1/gamelog/2022/

    Will Levis:
    Vanderbilt: 109 yards passing, 0 TDs/1INT...47.8 comp.%. -16 yards rushing
    Tennessee: 98 yards passing, 0TDs/3 INTs...59.3 comp.%

    Those are bad games.

Maye's last 4 games (look at the game logs):

    Keep dying on those hills.
