I bet Stone told Iko to put that article out to show Stone is working to improve the team,DO NOT BELIEVE IT STONE NEVER DO ANYTHING DURING TRADE SEASON HE IS SCARED AND DO NOT WANT THE BLAME.
The NBA's Western Conference isn't what it used to be but it might be more fun this way High 50 and 60-win teams at the lofty top of the conference looking down upon teams that needed to win 48 games to sniff the playoffs. That’s the West everyone remembers. That certainly isn’t this West, though. The standings are going to come down to the wire this year and for a league struggling to bring meaning to a sometimes drab regular season, this is an absolute gift. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2023/01/nba-western-conference-all-star-game
Spoiler: Nuggets Begin Gauging Trade Value of Bones Hyland After his name was discussed in trade conversations around last June’s NBA Draft, Denver has begun gauging the trade value of second-year guard Bones Hyland, sources told Yahoo Sports. The Nuggets have something of a decision to make regarding the team’s backup point guard position, previously held by Monte Morris — who was traded to Washington this past offseason — as Hyland and standout free-agent acquisition Bruce Brown have both proven their ability to function as Denver’s reserve lead ball-handler. Garuba + MIL pick for Bones Hyland
Killian Hayes? Chris Duarte? TJ McConnell? I think the Pacers like the other backup PG Nembhard so maybe we can peel off one of their other backup.
Hopefully we can really getting a running start (i.e. losing streak) heading into the deadline so on the last day: EG + 2024 SRP (BKN) for Fournier + 2025 FRP (lesser of Knicks or Bucks) Tate + Garuba + Josh Christopher + 2023 Rockets FRP (Buck pick) + 2025 Knicks (FRP) for OG Anunoby Rest of the season: Green KMJ OG Jabari Sengun Fournier KPJ Eason Fernando They may want Eason over Garuba, and I'd do it if it came down to it. OG Anunoby is the type of player we want Eason to become. We only lose one FRP and one SRP in the deal. Hopefully Fournier will provide some consistent 3pt shooting off the bench while only remaining on the books for one more season after 2022. Obviously the defensive impact of OG will be felt the most followed with OG's improved 3pt shooting. Feels like we shouldn't have an issue being terrible up until the trade deadline then we will have 26 games left in the season to try not to win too much.
3 team trade: Rockets out: Eric Gordon 2023 MIL pick Rockets In: Alex Caruso Saric (exp) Bulls out: Alex Caruso Bulls in: Crowder (buy out?) 2023 MIL pick 2023 PHX Pick Suns out: Crowder 2023 pick Suns in: Eric Gordon Rockets get a defensive minded pg who is not going to take away from the development of the young guys. He is a winning player who could provide vet leadership now and maybe in the future. This move doesn't limit us going forward. Caruso can start now and play off the bench in the future depending on how our offseason goes. KPJ can slide over to the 3 or come off the bench, depending on how you view him. Rockets are trending towards the direction of buying out Gordon. This way we get something back for him. With all of our young players, the 2023 MIL pick likely won't get much playing time next year. Gordon goes to a contender Crowder gets bought out PHX gets Gordon, which is where he was rumored to want to go Bulls get their 2 FRPs they wanted for Caruso, which is an overpay, but no one is overpaying in this deal. Note: This is if we miss on a deal for someone like OG -- would rather use that 2023 MIL pick in a package for him.
I’m not feline; sarcasm is not in my vocab. Well, at least not this time… Curious: how do you the four pieces of this mythical meeting of a deal?
My biggest fear with doing a dramatic move now is we don't have any idea what the draft order is. For example: If we land #3 and Detroit lands #2, there's a scenario we could put our best bid for Cade, Ivey or Scoot (preferably Scoot). I doubt they roll with all 3 and I'd like to go into that bidding war with the #3, 2023 Mil pick + more if necessary. Obviously in the little chance we land Victor or Scoot that changes a lot. Teams go into the offseason with cap room not certain if they'll land the next big free agent. There's no free agent that will likely impact our future like Victor or Scoot, which we have about a 1/3 chance of landing -- which are greater odds than us landing any player of their future caliber pre-draft, and that's without giving up any assets. If we don't land them we still get 3-5 which is still very impactful, whether for trade or keeping.
This is curious to me. We worked with team on draft and Bones had most red flags of any of the prospects. Year 1 looked like they made the right choice, makes me wonder what's going on behind the scenes.
Anunoby is pretty much useless without a Tatum and a Jaylen Brown. You don't start with the 3rd option, best 3 and D player. Siakam is your 2nd best one, you need a new Kawhi for the Raps.
Just curious, Champboy. Are you a juvenile or English as a second language guy? I don’t think your basketball takes are bad, but people will always take comments with at least passable grammar more seriously. That really goes for every aspect of life in the USA. Borat has made a living making fun of people with bad grammar.

OG is not the answer here. Sacrificing Tari and the BKN picks for this guy would be a horrendous misstep.
