Chris Pratt was practically born to play Michael Jackson, I'm guessing they gonna make the film woke thou and make MJ bleck..... I'll wait and see if they stay true to the source material...

Yeah, this will be tough. Need at least three actors (kid, Off the Wall, last years) and Jackson had such a slight build I just don't see a good match. I bet they end up focusing on the face. As noted in the video above, there are also some tricky issues to navigate including his sexuality, kids at Neverland, and plastic surgery. What happened between Off the Wall and Thriller that led to such drastic physical differences? There are so many urban legends and myths around the guy too. Then, do you have the actor sing or mime? Whoever gets the roles also has an impossible job of oozing talent the way Jackson did from a kid on. The guy was an incredible artist--beyond the subjects of most music biopics.

I'll watch it, curious to see how they handle it over the years as well.

Jackson was proven innocent in court
That HBO documentary was a money grab because bro was denied being the lead choreographer of the Michael Jackson one show in Vegas (which is dope)

The Jacksons: An American Dream miniseries from 1992 is still the best Jackson related bio to be put on the screen.

interested, but I'm not sure how they get the story to the next level given it is so well known, and even if not true, the cringe allegations and death will more than likely take away from the film then add to it for most. This is a tough one. There are moments to be found, something I thought Bohemian Rhapsody missed on, but almost no payoffs to walk away with.

Even though Fuqua has done more famous things like Equalizer and Training Day, I'd always remember him as the guy who directed Coolio's Gangster Paradise music video.
