The 49ers committed more dumb penalties than I thought possible too. But yeah, they are legit. I would have to pick the Igles -- unfortunately for them -- as favorites in the Stupor Bowl.
Such a trash game on every level. Devonta Smith "catch" not getting reviewed. Every single penalty in the history of football called on the 49ers (a lot of them valid, but it was still over the top), Purdy getting hurt, 4th string QB ****, Purdy playing again but literally can't throw. People talking about the 49ers losing their cool... they had every single right to react that way.
They got behind the 8 ball with their QB situation and then proceeded to get their asses kicked. I'd be upset too.
I mean 31-7 sure, but they gave up 269 yards of offense. They were getting called for penalty after penalty, the Eagles really didn't do much offensively, were gifted one of the touchdowns. The QB situation ended that game in the 1st quarter for sure.
Nah. Imagine you win a huge slew of games in a row and are rolling pretty good. Then bad luck, a few terrible penalties, and a better team make you feel suddenly like the Texans. That's pretty much what happened. Any human being would be furious.
Is it obvious to everyone that Greg Olson is by far the best analyst on TV today… and Tony Romo has slipped exponentially in the quality of his takes. (And now he’s just flat-out wrong half the time when commenting on something on the field).
I thought Romo was so good at the start of his career, and like you said he's turned into a JAG. Now try and figure out if I'm talking about him as a QB or announcer.
Lol… exactly Now he’s just screaming “Here we go JIM!!!” For almost every big play. That’s now the extent of his analysis. Meanwhile, Olson is breaking down receiever routes, blocking schemes, and instructing the audience how the defense plays the RPO.
Isn't that true for most playoff games? Hyped up and end up being blowouts, one-sided, or mistake-ridden.
