    Carr/Lance/Jimmy G/Wilson/Minshew or Mike White?

My primary concern is over the association with Travis Scott... who as you may be aware is married to a Kardashian.

I think you’re reaching. Travis is one of the top artists of his generation. Stop acting like these kids can’t meet/hangout with their favorite artists.

CJ Stroud just ways looks like he's trying too hard to look cool.

    Just the vibe I get.

Some people rarely smile in public. Nothing to do with trying to be cool. Could be a bit of an introvert.

Why would any of these be successful with the Texans when they haven’t been successful with teams that have more overall talent than the Texans?

Look, I think Stroud is risky as hell, but if you go watch the UGA game alone then he looks like a true stud. He finally used his legs to extend plays and carved up an elite defense. Obviously there’s a lot more tape than just the UGA game, but I think it does show that there’s still another leap he can take that we haven’t seen yet from him.

LOL oh man, Trevor Lawrence would’ve been a major red flag for you.

when he was hanging out with celebrity Darius Rucker and his history of drugs and history.

These QB’s should just concentrate on football

Agreed. NFL scouts will look at the UGA film and know what Stroud has in the tank. The question becomes ... Can Stroud be coached up to deliver those types of performances in the NFL on a consistent basis?

True, but the same could be said for Fields in his playoff outing against Clemson and he has yet to realize that success in the NFL.

Never seen him smile on the sideline either. I absolutely don’t care if he ever smiles as long as balls out. Carter is my 1-2 pick though. QB at 11 if Levis drop. If any of the top three drop out of top 5 I could see us trading up to grab one, Don’t see it happening. If we do go QB 1-2 we need to go hard in FA on the defensive side of the ball and OL.

I've gone back and forth between Young and Stroud, but the reason why I rank CJ as the better prospect is his accuracy. Even though there was only a 2% difference in their completion percentages for last season, CJ's throws just look so much more accurate on tape, especially the deep balls. I think he's more likely to succeed in the NFL.

For those of you who don't like the QBs this year, what do you think about trading for Rodgers? He may be available.

I think mainly bc success is relative. Not saying any of these qbs are long term solution but someone like Carr or Jimmy g would be a improvement if the texans decide they want to punt on a qb this year. If you did that, I think you build up some skill positions and solidify the basic positions. High draft picks on pass rush and wrs then go onto improving the line

Then next year grab your qb and use the cap space of you have someone who can make a difference

I go back and forth on Young, but have been on record as him being the only one I really think has a shot of being a franchise changing QB if one is there this year. Wish Williams were in this draft, but feels like this would be a fun way to kickstart the draft ala Jets in 2022 if I’m not overvaluing Boutte….
    • Stay put at 1.02 and grab Young (hopeful if Chicago just stays put and goes Carter/Anderson)
    • 1.12 draft Michael Mayer - becomes Young’s security blanket and first legit TE we’ve had since Owen Daniels
    • 2.2 draft Kayshon Boutte - still need a WR threat
There’s some interesting mid round RB talent too, but this team has an odd defensive and OL early draft lean across its history. Would be fun to see them break the mold and tell me that wouldn’t be a fun start to an offensive nucleus adding to Pierce & Collins along with one of the young, bright defensive minds in the league taking over as head coach if we hire DeMeco as well.

Absolutely not. A team like the Texans shouldn’t want anything to do with Rodgers. That would be an incredibly massive mistake. And honestly I don’t think the Texans will even consider it.
