Um, Jalen is not a lesser QB. The Niners are not winning because of Purdy. They are winning because of their #1 defense and their run game. The problem with Purdy, is that he is not going to win in this league long term. There have been Dozens of QBs like him and eventually his limitations will show.

Would you do #33 for Trey Lance, if Chicago or another team trade up for Bryce Young?

I think due to Brock Purdy's success, Trey Lance will be on the market

I think you consider it although Lance looked worse than Fields in his small sample of playing.

I like Young and Stroud. As 3rd round picks, where I have them graded.

If your grade different that much from the national consensus, do you question your own scouting ability?

    I dont.

For instance I've got Hyatt as WR1.

Biggest difference making WR in the draft.

    Holy ****.

where did your advisors grade Purdy?

Actually - while we’re here. Can you please grade all the draft eligible QBs this year and next that you consider to have a 5th Rd or better?

Put your money where your mouth is.

I also have Hyatt WR1 but haven’t seen many scouts saying the same. That’s why I was hoping we could get him at 33. Only Lance has him at WR1. Everyone else was 3 or worse

Hell No. 49ers would be idiots to trade Lance after a half season of Purdy. Why? We have seen this story before. QB's have a great season coming in as an injury replacement, only to crash and burn the next season.

Honestly, this is concerning if these guys are celebrity hounds and not competitors devoted to the cause of continuous improvement and winning. Getting mixed up with the wrong crowd hurt Harden's performance.

    Also, Young looks quite small.

the texans already tried that by drafting Davis Mills in the 3rd round, and it didnt work, in part because the team doesnt have elite talent on offense and defense like the 49ers, or the same thing happened last year with the Titans selecting Malik Willis last year in the 3rd round, and Malik sucks.

Young and Stroud are definitely not Burrow or Trevor Lawrence, but they can make it work and turn around the Texans.
