he doesnt really need any of this just to get more playing time, say cca 37 minutes per game and a better role, that of the PG! hes already one of the best in NBA
Some great clips. Heck, the first one shows just a rediculous play by Sengun. He grabs the board at the other end on a missed shot, runs with the ball to the middle of the 3 line, quick bounce pass to Green on the side, who'd been running with him. With a glance, he sees Eason with an open path to the basket, who has caught up and moved inside the elbow. Alpi wags his hand at Jalen to get his attention, asking for the ball back, gets it, and makes an amazing bounce pass to Tari for the easy bucket. That all happens in a few seconds. It's not hard to imagine these players next season with more experience playing together, and hopefully some coaching, doing serious damage on the offensive end.
The third one they called a travel but the ball was already leaving before he landed. I didn't get that call. You see more blatant ones that don't get the whistle.
his proclivity and ability to put ball on the floor in almost any situation and attack the rim is MARVELOUS! he plays the right way! the way i envision it...
Sengun made a relation between KPJ's presence and his touches, because he knows the game and understands how it was when he told that. With KPJ and Green on the court, it's a guard oriented offense based on iso and kick outs (only working with maybe only 5 stars in the League, with no results in the playoffs) From what I see, it's just a coach (so called an offensive genius) not being able to adapt, and staying with what he knows best. Nothing new in the NBA, iso offense for guards coming from AAU with no IQ... Everybody outside the Rockets seeing the diamond Sengun can be. That's why I think Sengun's case Is showing us how incompetent the rockets' staff is (with or without purpose).
yes this was beautiful, i especially appreciate jalens ability/willingness here to give up the ball quickly nevermind he just has received it and this one is one of my favorites:
You can't really answer I know you can't. Sengun fan:"Can't trust Stone, I have zero faith in the front office!!!" But when asked who drafted Sengun Sengun fan: "You're a idiot"
Eli vortel(?) i think his name, He is the assistant GM of rockets, Rumors said he is the person behind sengun trade, even the lawyer did not want
Great find, matches the eye test. So he isn't the terrible defender he is made out to be, but in fact gets left on an island by his teammates all the time.
Whoever puts in work to develop long-term year-to-year will become a star or higher. Typically many can have talent, those successful in the league have the mental strength and persistence/consistency to add to their games over the years and taking care of your body. Sengun is leading many and honestly one of the best in his draft class. I like how he works on his weakness while refining his strengths, if he starts hitting threes, continuing to build his defense, reducing turnovers and performing under pressure for wins he'll hit another level.
Alperen Sengun’s strongest deniers are awfully quiet, because even they are starting to wonder: “How good is this kid?” They don’t dare shout from the rooftops like they were previously, now that they know that Alperen is a coast to coast threat and a walking 20-12-6 at 20-years-old. Step 1: Adapt Turkish MVP style to the NBA. Complete. Step 2: One more physical leap. Strength, quickness, etc. I believe he has another level to go. He needs a killer off-season routine in the weight room. Step 3: Range shooting. It is the final step. It is the difference between Sabonis and something we haven’t seen before. Conclusion: Deebo has arrived. Better be quiet while he is around.
Let's get one thing straight. We are all Rockets fans here, but when fans start boasting about how good a certain player is compared to the rest on the team there will obviously be push back. What you call Sengun deniers are people tired of hearing the obvious bias FOR him.
this is why I always say, it doesn't mater what picks you have, you can develop any player into a star and superstar...there isnt absolutely any difference in talent between top 100 young players in the world...no basketball genes hidden from our sight that only gms can detect..its all just a mater of opportunity and how many chances you get, thats why higher picks prosper more, because they get more chances due to false belief that they are better and because gms dont want to look like fools for drafting them so they favor them and do everything that they suceed more so than for lower picks
