    Sources tell me that Ryan’s may or not be the top candidate in Houston, also he may or may not be interested in taking the job…where’s my tv contract…

    So interesting the way he worded it.
    He didn't say DeMeco was "A" top candidate but he also didn't say "THE" top candidate either.
    Wish he would have said THE instead of just (the grammatically incorrect) "top candidate" but still much better than "A"!

    I just need Denver to get impatient and hire Gannon already so that the Texans don't have that option as plan B. With Gannon to Denver that leaves Ryans, Steichen and the writer dude Kafka.

    None of these people can be hired until their teams are eliminated from the playoffs anyway. So the first domino likely falls next week with Gannon/Steichen or Ryans finally able to accept an offer somewhere.
