Well. You’re wrong. And you come across as a KPJ only fan that doesn’t care about the rockets. Alp and Green are the future. Not KPJ. The team needs to be built around them. Jabari is a good piece
Also, it’s been proven multiple times that Sengun is one of the better defenders on this team. Just because you don’t want to believe the numbers doesn’t mean it’s not true
Yeah I'm not so sure about that. Even if we go back to the KPJ centric offense, that usually means Sengun will be out there with the bench guys. Or Jalen at the very least, the minutes can be staggered so that we don't have these -30 net rating lineups on the floor. There is a reason our record is worse when he's out. Obviously I would prefer that we continue running the offense the way we have been, I think that would produce the best results. When KPJ+Sengun are on the court, run the offense through Sengun, but then make sure we stagger Sengun/KPJ so one of them is on the court at all times. That way we don't have these Josh Christopher/Garrison Matthews backcourts that make our 10 point leads evaporate in like 2 and a half minutes. But regardless of how KPJ is used, these backup guard minutes are hurting us a lot more than Sen-hub is helping us, and that is the reason KPJ helps us.That's basically the TLDR of my argument here.
I’m not wrong. We run this dumb scheme bc he’s so limited. The pacers traded sabonis, there’s a reason for that. Let’s see what happens when the kings make the playoffs lol. Sengun can’t guard any position on the floor
He’s not at all. He’s the only guy they try to hide. We were getting killed in the PnR, so we had to stick him on a corner shooter. At that point players will just take him off the dribble
We don’t run any scheme, this team has no defensive presence……at all. Alp is one of the better defenders. It’s evident that your savior Bruno is terrible as well. These limitations you speak of aren’t real, you’re too close minded and set in your ways to see this is the future
I actually won't say anything he screws up. I get you're a fan. I think he could be a piece if they'd move him to SF (we would have to see) and if he's willing to come off the bench but his attitude doesn't suggest he would. Silas is to blame for that too
The issue isn't whether we are better without KPJ. The issue is whether we are better without KPJ dominating the ball. I think it is pretty difficult to argue against the latter after seeing what happened without him. The problem without KPJ is that we don't have a better replacement for him. The problem with KPJ is that he always dominates the ball. It's like getting rid of a problem while adding another problem at the same time. The KPJ apologists keep pointing out that we are still not winning. That's a strawman argument. The fact that we lost our second highest scorer and remain competitive (mostly in the first half when the starters play) in many games shows that the starting lineup doesn't really miss KPJ, maybe even better. This is exactly what a lot of us propose. Move KPJ to the second unit.
Alperen Sengun is on the path to becoming a superstar. Opposing teams' best players, opposing teams' coaches, opposing teams' fans all realize it, and most of the Rockets fans with a brain. Pretty much everyone except Silas, possibly some people in the front office (the owner?) and a few people who possibly have a bias for whatever reason.
I also believe if KPJ has the keys, we’re ****ed lol. I know y’all disagree on the Sengun stuff, but I wish y’all knew why I’m concern about him.
Just to save you guys some time, this guy literally has another account so he can hate on Sengun 2x. He's a loser.
Why does Sabonis matter so much to you? Alp is better than him at the same stage for one. Two, he’s the best player on one of the best offenses in the league at the 3rd seed while Indiana is sitting below .500 and 9th seed. Sabonis is arguably a better player than Halliburton.
That’s absurd. This is my only account, why would I have another? It also says he’s located in Houston. I live in Austin
