I like a wide range of music too 70s-90s (also, all your main genres are pretty much the same for me), anyway, for Korn if you don't like their main singles and gave them a good listen from the first 5 albums, I'd say listen to their tracks that are not as well known. There's a reason why they're still relevant. They're definitely not for everyone but with the number of songs they've put out and some of the changes they've gone through over the years (some good/bad) there's a lot there to listen to. I also appreciate that they still sound good live, and always found it interesting KoRn's lead singer always states several synth bands/new wave as inspiration. I think KoRn was probably one of the last few bands I picked up in my permanent rotation, and I listen to a wide variety of stuff like you. Unplugged session of Korn with the Cure is pretty decent example (but there's a lot more): PS 3 Doors Down is awful, definitely agree with you, haha
