The other bit I was going to say is that if you went to Pelosi's house or McCarthy's or McConnell's or any of these folks in leadership you'd probably find mis-stored classified documents, but I doubt the DOJ could get a warrant to search those houses for those classified documents merely based on a "everybody's doing it" argument. Unless the National Archives knows it is missing documents (as in Trump's case) or high officials self-report, we don't have any way of enforcing these rules. I'd like to see more tenant protection, but regulating landlords seems like a state jurisdiction thing, not federal.
These are affordable living properties that get federal money..... the us government subsidies them and has the right to dictate terms. Private sector/state usually always follows federal regulations. Giving tenants an option to counsel for them to know their basic rights is such an amazing thing. Poor people get picked upon and they don't know better. America is truly getting better. Beautiful
I wonder if MAGA even realizes biden is literally rebuilding rural America. The majority of the IRA jobs are actually in RURAL America and the jobs don't require a four year degree. The jobs have wage standards build into the law so it mandates that the rural workers are being paid a fair wage. Hundreds of billions of dollars is being flooded right now in rural America with cutting edge tech jobs that will empower future generations. Biden also ensured every home in rural America has broadband internet (free of charge if you make under 30k which majority of rural America does). Also every bridge in rural America will be repaired. @basso biden has literally done more for rural America than any of the useless tax cutting Republican presidents of the past 4 decades.
Many of Trump's policies actually hurt his base. His trade wars rebounded back when many countries quit buying US agricultural products. The PRC was a huge buyer of US soybeans but now have shifted to buying from Brazil and other countries. That really hurt US soybeans farmers in the Midwest.
So in other words you're just another Urban Elite who doesn't care about those people in fly over land.
That doesn't make it much different. A suburanite East Coast elite is probably even worse than someone who lives in the middle of NYC, Boston or PHilly.
