I know there have been changes in Cuba's acceptance of Cuban Born MLB players, but are they accepting ex-patriots on their National Team now?

They must be anticipating the return of the DEAD BALL. What's that in METERS? ~109?

Twins acquiring another CF in Michael A. Taylor from Royals.

Buxton hurt already or is he a Chas upgrade?

Blue Jays assemble a great defensive OF. Move in fences such that Alvarez throwing people out at home will be as valuable as their rangy LF (Springer, Vashon, or Kiermaier)

Didn't realize just how long Mondesi has been around now, and just how unimpressive his career has been. Can't stay healthy or take a walk.

Why are they making the bases larger?

Guilty or not, I guess Clevinger’s career is over.

    I see.

why are they limiting pickoff throws to first?

I thought the larger bases was for safety. More space for a runner and fielder to not step on each other. Limiting pickoffs is mostly about MLB's efforts to speed up the game. It will add some interesting strategy. A pitcher can still throw over a 3rd time but if they don't pick off the runner, the runner is awarded 2nd base.

yeah I figured it had to do with viewer impatience. I actually like that they are getting rid of the shift. Batting averages will go up a little and good defensive players at 2b will be a necessity again. I think.

Are the distances between bases gonna change with the bigger bases?

Bases are increasing by 3 in. So I would guess that means the bases will be 4.5 in closer
