We had enough…nice guy but he is not a disciplinarian for the team. His Harden’s offense style does not our offense. The players we have need a motion offense, Triangle or Princeton offense, not a Harden or Luka’s offense. One man offense, while other people stands around is not working for us. We done great thing as a assistant with the Mavericks running the Luka’s offense, not here. We need the offense the Sacramento Kings are running. We need a new coach.
Nah. Just bad camera angle (from below), bad lighting and just being 50 and employed. This is ragged: Silas is a nice guy but is most likely better off as part of a coaching staff, vs head coach.
Silas is best coach available at this time with the worst record in NBA history….we fans are so lucky to have him.
I dont think Tilman is pressed, hes doing financially fine and their plan is to tank. The point was that being 28th in attendance (different from tickets sold) doesn't mean you're doing a great job of entertaining, as Silas said they are entertainers. I don't think a bigger stadium necessarily means you have to fill a specific percentage of it, a better metric to look at would be the metro population count vs. attendance. Stadium capacity would be relevant if both teams are consistently selling games out and at full capacity. Its not like the Rockets play in a high school gym compared to their peers. Houston being the size that it is, and being 28th in attendance is pathetic.
People on this board respond with personal insults to people with differing opinions far too often. It’s completely unnecessary.
This team is still in the Larry Brown mode. It's about individual player development. The players have actually shown individual development, but at some point the individual and team discipline to do the right thing every time down the court needs to be displayed. So he can talk about that aspect, but it isn't translating to the court, so it's not happening. I don't know that Silas is that development guy. So we need a college coach if you ask me. And in about 3-4 years after that we can move to a higher level nba coach with some leadership and who can create an identity.
U do know that Toyota Center is 1 of the smallest arenas in the NBA when it comes to seating capacity right? Stadium capacity is always relevant, because that’s the only reason the Pistons are 12th and the Rockets are 28th when they’re both selling the same percentage of their tickets. Rockets were selling 99% of their tickets during the Harden years and were still 16th in attendance
i develop every year and i dont even have a coach.... higher pick doesn't mean you get a better player...like the fans like the franchise! 100% clueless
I still wouldn't promote Witus, I had enough of that friendly position giveaway. Keep Witus but hire someone new from the Celts, Spurs...new perspective.
