lol recasting both Rick and Morty voices? I mean they can computerize it right? A cheap imitation of the most important voices immediately kills the series.
I remember The Simpsons and Family Guy recast some of the voice actors when the whole POC dust up. I think they modulate some of the voices to because there are only a few that are noticeable like Dr. Hibbard and Carl on the Simpsons, might be possible to recast but its also the kind of series that could work it into the story....
I trust the writing on Rick and Morty. They can say the atmosphere changed so some voices are different, or another variant of them combined into their larynxes or something even more crazy. Literally anything is possible on that show.
There's more to this than just the charges (obviously if guilty it's enough). Adult Swim was holding out imo, but then this dropped last week on Reddit/Twitter and apparently more have been coming forth: https://www.screengeek.net/2023/01/24/justin-roiland-alleged-dms-disturbing/ This hasn't gained a ton of traction yet, but the timing of the firing is interesting as it seems to correlate more to the texts with minors vs the charges. AS definitely knew of the charges but was probably hoping per the contracts/investment they could fix it, but I think now they're trying to distance themselves more before the brand is completely destroyed by Roiland's actions. I personally think the show is over but we'll see.

Yeah, it's really gross, I think there's actually more girls coming forward too. I mean I heard he was an *******, but I didn't think he was an abuser and then a pedo on top of it. I mean unless somehow this is proven otherwise there's a lot of damning evidence and I think that's why AS finally cut ties since they knew what was coming. He said some cringe worthy stuff in an interview that's now resurfaced and probably should have been a redflag but the texts are a whole different level. I also didn't know the true origin of R&M other than the BTTF parody, but it's pretty dark on the little bit I read on it.

Possibly, but stuff like this resurfacing doesn't help his case here: There's most likely more stuff like this out there on him, I really do think AS/CN etc was going to let it ride on the trial and kind of remain quiet like they did for Harmon in the past, but now it's like damage control to salvage their investment.
