Suggs is complete garbage…he’s light skin Mudiay

Davion Mitchell is a bench caliber guard who’s main calling card is defense…he is not a scorer, he is not a playmaker

    this fanbase is DESPERATE

Agreed. Connelly or Caruso in a 2 year mentoring role or break the bank with a Harden like trade for Lamelo. If we get the 2nd pick in the draft would you give it up for Lamelo if Charlotte is in love with Scoot? I would. By the way, why bring up skin color? That’s beneath you.

IMO you can forget about trading KPJ for a quality replacement:
    1. His trade value is obviously low due to past history
    2. Rox did a disservice to him by playing him out of position at PG. Now his low bbiq, ISO heavy tendency, etc are all exposed. Had he been still playing the SG position, I'd assume his trade value would be much higher.

Only ways to get a quality PG:
    1. Draft. Scoot is obviously the best candidate
    2. Free agents. Although this year's FA pool doesn't look all that impressive
    3. Have to include some other promising young prospect (KMJ for instance) in the trade package

suggs has looked horrible every time i've seen him

but killian hayes looked even worse for a couple years, so i guess improvement is possible

Tyus Tyus Tyus. That's so 2021 trade deadline. I got my eyes on this new cat Tre Jones. Or McConnel for some Vet shooting/PG or his teammate, Nembhard.
Offer the Milly pick for Tre or Andrew and see who takes the bait. The 27th pick is going to be better than those 2.

If we're just throwing out random point guards, I wonder what'd it'd take to nab Jose Alvarado. Heart/energy guy who can come off the bench and rally the second unit. If we're really committed to this KPJ thing that is...

Me saying he’s light skin version of Mudiay is a problem? Really?

and I would be fine with keeping Scoot or trading him for LaMelo…I’m fine with either decision tho I’d lean towards acquiring LaMelo

I agree. I was thinking that the other day Lonzo would be the perfect fit but he's going to cost a ton.

Suggs would’ve been even worse than KPJ

Play style wise, absolutely. But I want our next PG to have some sort of alpha or dominating presence around them. Lonzo is way too nonchalent and his demeanor is too quiet. I won't complain if we get him though.

Theoretically,Lonzo Ball is the best choice, but he is too fragility.I don't think he can play 82 games

Why do people keep bringing up Melo? They aren't trading him

I'd take Suggs over KPj today. He's in his second year. KPj is in his 4th and is still dumb as bricks.

Eh I don't know man. Suggs is like really not doing good. KPJ had a better second year.

If we are going to go for a new pg I'd rather it be some vet like Conley Jr or at least someone who is known to distribute the ball at a high level like Lonzo.

This team needs a "coach on the floor" more than anything. Suggs definitely is not that. He's as young as everyone else on this team.

In fact, a straight Tyus Jones for KPJ would improve both teams.

1.6 years at PG and 20 games or so the year before at SG....we have less than 2 years....just to be accurate.
