Does ERCOT track private solar production? I'm curious if that is factored in - or if it is meaningful vs negligible. Since folks can sell back to the grid, I thought maybe it is tracked but then most systems are so small, I'm not sure how often folks sell back.
7 out of 8 water troughs are fine (the one that broke is the least vital, so I'm happy), as is the barndominium and the other slackshack. Plumber coming to my mom's house first thing in the morning to fix the water line going into her water heater, which we found out was broken after it thawed around 3pm on Saturday, thankfully it's outside the house in the washroom off of the carport.
I enjoyed it, cold snap is over after tomorrow, back to 70's and 60's for the foreseeable forecast here
Only sorta related but wondering if anyone here experienced or is still experiencing Flightmare 2023? Is it really that bad out there? I flew the week before Christmas will only a 3 hour delay but flying tomorrow morning on AA to Seattle.
I'm just waiting to see how many wildfires are started in the Hill Country tonight, at least the wind dies down and the humidity picks up after dark.
California and adjacent states are about to get pummeled by a huge storm just off the coast. I saw figures like 10" of rain , 50 - 70 mph wind gusts, and snow up to 4 feet in the mountains. Looks like those lakes are going to get some decent snow melt and water in the Spring. Is it drought busting, though?
