Can't tell if they are better or worse with KPJ out. I think it is forcing the team to play differently, which is a good thing at the end of the day.

Man, how dysfunctional does a team have to be for two teammates merely talking to each other about the on-going game to be noteworthy?

The way they’ve been playing together makes it look like they’ve figured something out. That’s good. I want to see these two becoming our future one-two punch

better. Ball moves nicely. They play a more team game. Players involved and not just standing watching.

I figured this post was going to be about when Alpi lifted him up after he hit that big 3. That was a nice moment as well! :)

This. I find myself being a lot less frustrated with the offensive possessions since KPJ has been out. I'm not sure that they are a better team without him, but I do find them to be more fun to watch.

The two man game with Jalen and Alpi causes problems for defenses. Small sample size but love how both are showing growth out of the two man action... Alpi extending the range of his push shot and Jalen actually using a floater more. Keep working with them coach Lucas... it's paying dividends.

You aren't watching yhe games. They are great together and you can tell they like each other. A far cry from watching that bum KPJ dribble the air out of the ball and jack up a garbage shot. It's refreshing to watch unselfish basketball

the offense looks better, but it doesn't change the fact that we sorely need a pg. turnover fest it feels like in every game

This exactly. They definitely play better as a team, BUT not necessarily a better team without him, if that makes sense. LOL

What I mean is, for all his faults, we’re still missing his scoring. It would take career nights from other guys to make up for it, like tonight. But it’s not sustainable. Unless Green can give us a new career high every other game I guess. LOL

This is why I laugh at those who say Stone hasn't done a great job rebuilding the Rockets. Dude got 2 franchise cornerstones in his first year tanking.

It ain't his fault that both are only 19 yrs old and prone to ups and downs. People hating on this team and the FO are either shortsighted, delusional or both with no idea how a rebuilding process works.
